Official Rules: open to US, DC, 18/age of majority and older (Entrants may not have been convicted of a felony). Begins on February 5 and ends on March 4. One entry per person. There is a limit of one First Prize per family/household/address.
You will be asked to allow Facebook’s “Basic App Permissions” (unless you have previously given this permission). Accepting Facebook Basic App Permissions is required in order to participate in the Sweepstakes.
After completing the entry form, complete and submit your entry (also referred to as your “Ballot”) by selecting your predictions for the winner in the twenty-four award categories for the 90th Academy Awards. While submitting predictions for the winner in all twenty-four award categories is strongly encouraged, it is not required. However, you will only be entered into the award category prize pool drawing for the category(ies) in which you have made a correct prediction. You may select only one nominee per category. The Ballot form will indicate if your predictions have been saved. You may return to your Ballot and modify your predictions as many times as you wish before the Promotion Period ends.
Entries must be manually key-stroked; use of automated entry devices or programs is prohibited.
Grand Prize/Runner-up Winner Determination: The eligible entrant with the highest number of correct predictions (of winners across all twenty-four categories listed on the entry ballot as announced at the 90th Academy Awards® scheduled for March 4, 2018) will be deemed the Grand Prize Winner. After verification of the Grand Prize winner as set forth below, the remaining non-winning eligible entrants from such Grand Prize drawing will comprise the Runner-Up Prize drawing pool and a Runner-Up Prize winner will be randomly selected from among such entrants (if only one eligible entrant remains, that person will be declared the Runner-Up Prize winner, subject to verification). If only one (1) eligible entrant correctly picked the highest number of award winners, then the Runner-Up Prize drawing will be conducted from among all eligible entrants with the second highest number of correct predictions. If only one eligible entrant is in that pool, that person will be declared the Runner-Up Prize winner, subject to verification.
First Prize Winner Determination: First Prize winners will be randomly selected by Administrator as follows: for each of the twenty-four (24) Academy Award® categories, there will be a separate random drawing from among all eligible entries with the correct prediction for that specific category (as further set forth above). Each eligible entrant with a correct prediction in the applicable 90th Academy Awards® category will receive one (1) entry into that category’s corresponding drawing, for a maximum of twenty-four (24) total entries across all of the category drawings. You must correctly predict the winner in a given award category in order to be included in the category’s corresponding prize drawing.
One (1) Grand Prize: A 3-day/2-night trip for two to Los Angeles, CA and tickets to sit in the bleachers next to the red carpet arrival area at the 91st Academy Awards® tentatively scheduled to take place on February 24, 2019. The exact date of the 91st Academy Awards is subject to change; exact date will be provided to winner at least sixty days prior to the event. Grand Prize Trip includes: round-trip coach class air transportation for two to Los Angeles, CA from an airport near winner’s residence; two nights’ hotel accommodations (one room, double occupancy) at a Los Angeles area hotel; ground transportation between Los Angeles area airport and hotel; and two tickets to the bleacher section next to the red carpet arrival area at the 91st Academy Awards. GRAND PRIZE DOES NOT INCLUDE ADMISSION TO THE 91ST ANNUAL ACADEMY AWARDS® CEREMONY OR ENTRANCE INTO THE DOLBY THEATER. ARV: $2,500
One (1) Runner-up Prize: A 3-day/2-night trip for two to Los Angeles, California to attend a red carpet premiere of the film “Avengers: Infinity War” in April/May 2018. The exact date of the Event is subject to change; exact date will be provided to winner at least thirty days prior to the Event. Runner-Up prize trip includes round-trip coach class air travel for two (2) from a major airport nearest the winner’s residence to Los Angeles, California; two nights’ hotel accommodations (one room, double occupancy); round-trip ground transportation to/from Los Angeles area airport of Sponsor’s sole choosing and hotel; and two tickets to a premiere screening of the Film. Screening tickets to the Film premiere do not include admission to the premiere after party. If winner’s residence is within 150 miles of Los Angeles, as determined by Administrator in its sole discretion, ground transportation will be provided in lieu of air travel and no substitute prize or compensation will be awarded. Twenty-four (24) First Prizes (one per category): Oscars® sweatshirt (exact size and color to be determined by A.M.P.A.S. in its sole discretion); and one Blu-ray of the winning film that corresponds to the award category from which the First Prize winner was selected. ARV: $75
