how to solve 3 puzzles under Death of Emma on digdecoded.com
HINT – most are religious words
Puzzle #1 Unscramble the letters to form a 10 letter word. It is a synonym for betrayal – UNFAITHFUL
Puzzle #2 Place the symbol from the video (on wall of tunnel) over the letter grid. Trace the path and key in on the Capital letters to unscramble a 6 letter word – SINNER
Puzzle #3 There are 6 destinations – click on the pen to draw a line connecting line for each of the (for example, America, Jerusalem, Asia looks like 7:25 on a clock). Go to site: www. decipherdemon.com, click on SEMAPHORE, and find the letter that looks like 7:25. Do this for each destination to form a 6 letter word – the letters in order form the answer ASTRAY
Vivian says
Dawna, where are you finding these puzzles? How do you earn the points? I am having a difficult time understanding how to play this game. Thanks.
Vivian says
Nevermind, I found the dropdown menu on the upper left corner of the screen. That’s what I was missing.

Passage for puzzle #6
ThinkingOutQuiet says
— Caught Unaware —
Puzzle 4 – Revolt Coins – What is the phone number Emma was calling for help?
Notice that the clue they give you is 855 and then a line of different-faced coins. The coins in order represent a row beneath. Count the number of a particular coin in the corresponding row to get the numbers in order. Don’t forget “855” at the beginning when you type in the 10 digit number!
Puzzle 5 – Tunnel Map – What is the PIN number to access Emma’s voicemail?
You will notice you can draw a line from the arrow (bottom left) to the yellow line and the line stops. If you go to the next yellow line and follow the puzzle (open space) to the next colored line (green) it will create a recognizable number. Do the same starting at green in the upper middle and go to red. Then start at red (bottom right) and go to blue. Finish by going from blue to out-arrow. You will see three distinctive numbers for the PIN.
Puzzle 6 – The Gates of Jerusalem – What do all the gates provide?
Each gate has a corresponding symbol. Draw a line from one gate to another utilizing the symbols on the bottom right until you see ONE word that stands out in the message.
Gate 1 – New – Looks like a star or asterisk
Gate 2 – Damascus – Looks like pillars or the Roman number III (3)
Gate 3 – Herod – Looks like a flower
Gate 4 – Lion – Looks like a lion’s head
Gate 5 – Gold – Looks like a coin (circle in circle)
Gate 6 – Dung – Looks like a dung beetle
Gate 7 – Zion – Looks like a horn or a pipe (like you smoke)
Gate 8 – Jaffa – Two arches (looks like McDonalds symbol)
Tweed524 says
I really appreciate the help “ThinkingOutQuiet ” but I still don’t get it. Do you draw all the lines at once or separately? I get the concept but don’t understand mechanics. Could you please enlighten me as little more? Thanks.
Kelly says
You might get confused by the characters, but they are all listed in the journal..after you connect all the lines there is just one word that stands out untouched!
ThinkingOutQuiet says
Tweed524 –
On the bottom right is a list of pairs-of-symbols. You match each symbol with a gate as I stated in my earlier message. Each pair of symbols represents a separate line. Draw a line from the gate the first symbol represents to the gate the second symbol represents.
For example, if the pair was a star (or asterisk) and a lion’s head you would draw a line from gate one to gate four. The web page also lets you draw a line through each pair as you finish them – which allows you to keep track of your progress! 🙂
Good luck!
(I know someone else has typed out the answers after I left instructions, but I just KNOW there have to be other people like ME who want to know how you get the answer and not just be GIVEN the answer!)
SirenaCansone says
Absolutely. I really appreciate the description of the mechanics of the solution. Thank you!

Cafe Sergei, It’s the napkin on page 6 of Emma’s Journal.
DivineDog says
Has anybody in scrambled the first clue, dboeramuatnyt.com???
Rachel says
@DivineDog –
If you look on page 3 of the journal, it mentions a special code that she used with her friends when she was little and that each number (1-26) corresponds with a letter of the alphabet.
When you convert the numbers at the bottom of the page to letters of the alphabet, it spells out a website. The text message “Oh what a tangled web we WEAVE” will indicate that once you get to that website, you will need to research how a “weave cipher” is formed. Using that cipher, you will figure out what dboeramuatnyt.com is 🙂
Shelia says
But when I do this WEAVE cipher on dboeramuatnyt.com I don’t find any site. Need more help on this please
Rachel says
dboeramuatnyt.com – you just use alternating lettters

HELP!!!
Week #3 Ashes to Ashes – Medium puzzle with burnt dice!?1? :}
Tweed524 says
I HAVE CLUES FOR PUZZLE 8
The numbers showing on the dice, and their position to the post-it note, are clues.
The die on the left tells you, starting from the left, which letter of each line to use. The die on the right tells you which letter to use from each line, starting from the right.
Read the letters top to bottom that the left die gives you, followed by the letters top to bottom that the right die indicates.
Tweed524 says
#7 – DESTRUCTION
#8 – END TIMES
#9 – WAR
Anne Scott says
Wow, Thank you!
El_Guapo says
For #9, hint: its in binary. Shells are Zeros
Chris says
Can someone please explain why NOAH is the password for Emma’s phone? Thanks!
Rachel says
On page 10 of her journal, the marks in the pencil line up with certain letters. You will see that it spells out theworldsnavel.com. Once you go to that site, clicking on the links/information in the menu on the top, you’ll see that the only biblical figure mentioned is noah. On the same page of the journal (10), it says “he knows too much about me, so i’ve changed my passwords and added them where i didn’t have them before. (note to self: i chose the name of the biblical figure discussed on that ancient map site i visited earlier today).” = password for phone = noah.
