Write the Lore behind your brand and win a trip to the @Marlboro ranch.
You will have the opportunity to create your own Brand by visiting marlboro.com and using the onscreen tools provided. Once you have created a design for your “Brand” and forged your Brand you may enter the contest. You must also enter an essay of 50 words or fewer telling us the story behind your Brand. The entrants who submitted the 50 highest scoring entries will be deemed the grand prize winners.
Eligibility: 50 US states + District of Columbia, 21 years or older who are smokers.
Entry Dates: 10/20/09 to 12/15/09.
How to enter: Visit www.marlboro.com. Register and login. Then click on the Tell Us Your Story picture.
Bonus: After you enter the contest you get the opportunity to use your brand on a t-shirt that Marlboro will ship to you free of charge in 8 to 12 weeks.
Entry Limit: one entry per person.
Prizes: (50) Each prize consists of a 4 day/3 night trip for two to a ranch in the western United States in 2010 which includes airfare, accommodations, meals, ranch activities, and a check for $1,250. Each grand prize winners Brand will be forged into a branding iron and presented to the winner. ARV $5,000.

Do you have to do an essay to be in the contest. I just made the shirt.
to be in the contest and have a chance to win a trip you have to write that essay and make a brand using their online tools. It only took me 10 minutes. The essay is basically only 2 sentences but you need to make it meaningful and it has to be about the brand you designed. The winners are judged.

I just love free stuff! Making my T-shirt was fun too! You can pretty much do anything you want. Doesn't need to be a brand. I took the initials, and made words with mine. You get 25 to choose from. My shirt says cowgirl up.And then i made a scenery. My shirt turned out awesome!
I am so bummed out I had ordered the STAND FOR YOUR BRAND tshirt and even recvd confirm it was sent……I call 2wks later and was told the email message was incorrect that it would take 6-8wks before order would be shipped.???OK so now it has passed the 6–8wks and still nothing….???so I call again. I was told that it had shipped on such such a date via UPS(United Parcel Service) I ask??? yes and requested tracking number ok thanked the person. Went to the UPS web site to see what happened and the tracking number was invalid!!! Called back they added another 2 digits to the tracking yada yada and guess what yep invalid. So I call again was told the same story that it was shipped on such and such a date tracking number I explained that I already knew this could you please connect me with someone who knows what happens on the mere chance that the package was sent back from where ever it had orginated please. Yes placed on hold click click click ding ding ding were sorry the number you have reached is no longer in service. I tried one more time explained how sad I was as I had never had any problems with anything Marlboro had sent to me. How I was lookng forward to the “One of a kind Tshirt”. Asked to be connected or was there another number I could call put on hold….heard music the click and the call was dropped. I am so sad so sad Has anyone else had a problem>?
I got my shirt not long after I created it, made one for my fiance as well under his account and a few more family members that wanted me to do it for them, it was actually pretty fun, then, Saturday I got a Invitation in the Mail telling I have won a trip to the Marlboro Ranch for 2011 I didn’t do an essay or anything I just created my brand, not sure what on that website that I done that allowed me to win that trip. But…… I AM SOOOOOOO EXCITED ABOUT IT! Called Saturday when I got the invite and RSVP the trip and my paper work is to be here 4 weeks! Can’t wait I pray that everything works out okay and I really get to go!
