With Purchase Entry: Visit a participating Staples location and make a purchase of at least $25 during the Sweepstakes Period to receive one unique code per purchase. The unique code will print on a separate receipt.
Without Purchase Free Code Request: Click on the link in the Rules for a popup to enter your email address to receive a free code. Limit one non-purchase unique code request per day.
During the Sweepstakes Period, Sponsor will randomly award unique codes if you engage with Staples on Facebook, Twitter, or Instagram, at Sponsor’s sole discretion.
Entry Limit: one entry per person per day. Each unique code may be used one time only.
One (1) Grand Prize: a $50,000 Scholarship*, awarded in the form of a check co-payable to the winner and winner’s school; and a three day/two night trip for winner and one travel companion to attend a Staples for Students Winners VIP Celebration with Katy Perry in Los Angeles, CA. Trip includes round trip coach class air transportation to/from the major airport nearest winner’s home city and Los Angeles, CA, two nights’ hotel accommodations in Los Angeles, CA [one standard room, based on double occupancy], ground transportation to/from airport/hotel in Los Angeles, CA, admittance for two to the Staples for Students Winners VIP Celebration, and $75 spending money per person, per day ($225 total per person), awarded in the form of a Sponsor-specified gift card. *At the time of prize award, the Grand Prize winner must be a candidate for a degree at an educational institution that maintains a regular faculty and curriculum and normally has a regularly enrolled body of students in attendance at the place where it carries on its educational activities. In the event the Grand Prize winner is the parent or legal guardian of a Candidate and Grand Prize winner wishes to designate the $50,000 Scholarship to Candidate who is his/her child/charge, the Grand Prize will be awarded in the form of a check co-payable to the Grand Prize winner’s child/charge and Grand Prize winner’s child/charge’s school. If Grand Prize winner is not a Candidate or the parent or legal guardian of a Candidate, the $50,000 Scholarship will be awarded as a check issued in the name of the Grand Prize winner for deposit in a 529 plan (for whomever Grand Prize winner wishes to designate the 529 plan to), subject to taxes.

I think it is ridiculous to have to get a new code each day. If no purchase is required, can someone who did make a purchase use the code from their receipt each new day, or do they have to return to the store to purchase something new?
