OK, excuse me for asking this, do you have to be a real estate agent to enter this sweepstakes then?
Sweetie says
The way I read it no, you don’t have to be a real estate agent to enter
brenda says
Thank you Sweetie, I just thought since it was a very good sweeps there might be some sort of catch laying around, and I looked at the rules, but, I was thinking maybe it was only open to certain people, Wow, I don’t know how you found this one, but it is very interesting to say the least! Thank you!
shanon hyatt says
Wow! This is awesome-thanks for sharing the best sweetie.
Mary Taylor says
So you only fill out the form once, then after you just share on social media for additonal entries? Or do I need to fill out the form each time I share?
carolyn rathbun says
sweetie, I have the same question? Because when i have entered each day the site says, “an error has occured” “Your e-mail address has already been used” So do i just enter once and from now forward just use Facebook? Thank you for your help
carolyn rathbun says

Travis Stoddard says

This would be a miracle to win. We would finally be able to get out of this long distance relationship. Even the $10k would be amazing.
*crossing my fingers*
Maria S. says
So . . . the sooner we can get 10,000 agents signed up with them the better chances we have!
Instead of just sharing the sweeps maybe we need to be aiming at agents to get them to sign up . . . fast!
I wonder how long it will take?
Nicole says
the fact that the second place prize is 100 winners who win 10, grand per person WOW! LOL
roundfile says
Anyone else feel this sweep is kinda fishy? They are a new start up company who claims they will do this big drawing when they reach 1,000 PAYING agents to pay for their service. Check out their facebook page! I think they set the bar way too high on purpose knowing that they will never reach it. Just my thoughts.
roundfile says
OOPS, I meant to say 10,000 paying agents.
Maria S. says
Yes, I agree with you. This could take years if it happens at all. Why would people in states other than California want to join this brokerage?
Travis Stoddard says
It’s not fishy, I promise. We’re just hardworking folks that want to give back to our community, plus what better way to get the word out. Why pay google, NBC and numerous other media outlet millions when you can give something back to the people that really matter. we do listen and we’re changing up the rules a bit, because we’re as excited as you guys are to to give away this house and help Habitat for Humanity. We want to help 10,000 people period. Whether you are a Real Estate Agent wanting to make more money, a home owner needing to refinance or sell your home or a first time home buyer we are here to help you. Once we have helped 10,000 people with their real estate needs we WILL be giving away this house.
Maria S. says
Wow! What a great idea! Thanks so much!

This contest IS garbage. I asked the company on Facebook and Twitter TIME AND AGAIN about the possible end date. They refuse to respond. All I specifically asked was how many agents do they have NOW that are current on their dues as the end date of THEIR contest, per the rules, is when their company has 10,000 real estate agents current on their yearly dues. This could be tomorrow or realistically in YEARS and YEARS. How can we even have any idea how long WE have to PROMOTE THEM if we do not know how many agents they have now that are current on their dues? Why not tell us since we are PROMOTING THEM?!
I am in the real estate business (and an attorney). Any RE agency would tell you if you ask them how many agents they have / how many are current on their dues. This agency has more of an obligation to tell us this information since they are running a contest premised on this information. Furthermore, they are asking US to PROMOTE THEM until they reach a certain level (that we have no idea how far they are from).
I think they are unprofessional, and doing such a disservice to the real estate business by holding a contest such as this without providing us more informaiton.
I will keep asking them about their agents and how many are current in relation to this contest so others are aware NOT to promote them and this spammy contest unless they do their part and tell us how many agents they have that are paid up.
Doesn’t this company have a business plan which projects when they expect to sign up 10K real estate agents who will pay up their dues? They should and if they do, it would indicate when they will reach 10K agents who are paid up. What are they hiding?
Maria S. says
According to the new rules, they no longer need 10,000 agents. Though how they are going to keep track of 10,000 helps, I just don’t know. Seems like mistakes can easily be made. They should have set an end date if they are really planning to give a house away.
Travis Stoddard says
The official rules will be released this week and it will be very clear as to what constitutes helping some one.
Travis Stoddard says
Claudia I have answered you multiple times on Facebook, your comments are completely unfair. The update to the official rules will be coming out this week.
As I mentioned on Facebook or business plan has us at 10,000 agents in 3-5 years. We agree it’s a long time to wait for $1000 but that’s why we are giving away a house plus $500k to Habitat for Humanity plus another $1 million in prize money. We want it to be worth the wait.
Please if your not willing to wait don’t enter the contest and do not promote us.
That being said we have helped 236 people so far and we will be putting a counter up on Facebook and our site.
With the soon to be released new rules we will reach our goal much sooner but again I can’t give a specific date this is a milestone contest and as an attorney you can understand why I can’t. I can only hope the counter will help create some transparency and let you guys see just where we are at.
As I keep saying we WILL be giving away the house and we are trying to do so as soon as possible. We really do want to do this as bad as you guys want to win it.
The contest is not garbage it’s a promotion to help get our name out there and for anyone looking to register, if a free house is not enough to wait for please do not register.
Maria S. says
I love this sweeps. I appreciate Travis keeping us updated. I for one am not giving up on this one and will be figuring out new ways to promote this even if it doesn’t count for my entries.
Thanks, again!
Amy Evans says
I also love this sweeps. Keep up the awesome work!!!
Cat Hare says
Please clarify how we get credit for sharing. On the form we are not asked for our facebook name or twitter name or pinterest name. When I click on tweet to share, the tweet links back to “thanks for registering” page. It doesn’t seem like it’s a link just assigned to me? So I am confused.
Thanks for any info.
Travis Stoddard says
You have to first follow us or like our Facebook page then you can tweet about our company to your friends or post updates on your wall.
Lisa Dion says
Just a heads up…..they mentioned on facebook that It is expected to be 3-5 years before they reach the goal, and sweepstakes winners are chosen!
David Piwowarczyk says
enter me to win a new home
kathleen says
Has anyone heard if they announced the January Google + $1000 winner?
Maria S. says
Was wondering the same thing.
kathleen p says
Have you all seen Elite facebook posting? This is what it says.
We’re sorry it’s been a while since our last post. It is clear that most people can’t wait for us to giveaway a home. That being said our goal is lofty and it will take some time to reach it. We are placing the contest on hold for the time being and will re open when we can give you a definitive drawing date. All of your previous activity will not be lost and will count as entries when we to our drawing.
Thanks and have a great weekend!
