I will be away for the weekend in Washington, DC enjoying our nation’s capital. I haven’t been there since I was a senior in high school which is about 32 years ago I think. It was actually my senior class trip and we went to the Smithsonian. My husband and I are taking a weekend away and having a little fun for a change. We will be leaving on the train (another adventure) in the morning and staying for the weekend. I hope we get to see all kinds of great things in D.C. My husband has never been there and he wants to see the Smithsonian too. Too bad it is supposed to be raining most of the weekend but at least it won’t be snowing!
I have a few sweepstakes scheduled over the weekend and there was always new ones to be found by “peeps” who post in the chatroom so stop by if you get a chance. If the weather is good in your area you probably won’t be inside anyway.

I’m so sorry that I didn’t get your message before I left. We just got back. We had a great time. We stayed at the Monte Carlo hotel and ate at several places, one was the Austin Grill across the street. Where is the Grillfish located? We are hoping to go back in May or June.
