Fujifilm Picture Perfect Halloween Photo Contest

Your fun, scary or cute Halloween photos could win you a trip to HERSHEYPARK IN THE DARK 2010, or a New York Institute of Photography course on the Fundamentals of Digital Photography and a $100 Rite Aid gift card, or a Spooktacular FUJIFILM FinePix Z33WP waterproof digital camera and a $75 Rite Aid gift card, or a reusable MY Way digital camera and a $50 Rite Aid gift card.

Eligibility: This contest may only be entered from the United States or the District of Colombia. This contest is available only to those persons, 18 or older, who are legal residents of the United States or the District of Columbia. INTERNET ACCESS AND EMAIL ADDRESS REQUIRED TO ENTER. Photo Contest Submission Photo Categories. All Entries must be family appropriate for all ages. THE DECISION REGARDING THE APPROPRIATENESS OF THE CONTENT OF THE SUBMISSIONS SHALL BE AT THE SOLE DISCRETION OF THE SPONSORS.

• Best Kid’s Costumes: Ages 2-12
• Best Teens and Adult Costumes (family appropriate for all ages)
• Spooktacular Decorations

Photo(s) can be taken by any type of camera, but must be submitted digitally in JPEG or PSD format and photo should be a minimum of 100dpi/20-60kb and a maximum of 4Mb in size.

Entry Limit: You may submit up to a total of 60 entries among the 6 photo categories, but there is a limit of one first prize per household. The same photo can be entered in multiple categories, but each time it is submitted counts as a separate entry. Each entry must be submitted separately. You must be the photographer of each photo(s) you submit and have the permission of any person used as a subject of the photo. Any editing/retouching/modifying of the photograph shall be performed by the submitting party. Use of stock photos is not allowed.

Prizes: One (1) Grand Prize (Grand Prize Winner to be determined from among all entries in all categories): A trip for four (4) people to HERSHEYPARK, PA for the HERSHEYPARK in the DARK attraction in October 2010. Prize consists of round-trip coach air transportation for four (4) between Harrisburg, PA and major airport in U.S. nearest winner’s home, 3-days/2-nights quad occupancy hotel accommodations at the Hershey Lodge, airport/hotel transfers, 8 admission passes to HERSHEYPARK in the DARK, 4 tickets to Hershey’s Really Big 3D show at Hershey’s Chocolate World, 4 tickets for the Hershey Trolley Tour, a Hershey’s Chocolate Basket and $300 in “Chocolate Currency” to be used at most Hershey Entertainment & Resort properties as well as Hershey’s Chocolate World ARV $4,500

Six (6) First Prizes (one in each category): Enrollment in the New York Institute of Photography Short Course: Fundamentals of Digital Photography. Prize consists of 16 complete lessons, Audio CD Lesson Guides, Photo Workshop DVD Guide, Monthly Website Updates, personal Student Advisor, Audio Photo Analysis, and Graduation Certificate (upon completion). Also includes a $100 Rite Aid Gift Card. Photography course must be completed by December 31, 2010 ARV $498

Six (6) Second Prizes (one in each category): Fujifilm Finepix ZW33 Digital Camera, plus a $75 Rite Aid Gift Card ARV $254.95

Six (6) Third Prizes (one in each category): A Rite Aid MY Way Reusable Digital Camera and $50 Rite Aid Gift Card ARV $79.99)

Prize Limit: one first prize per household. Allow 4-6 weeks after validation for receipt or arrangement of receipt of prize.

Drawing Date: Judging/Winner Selection: Winners will be selected by a panel of judges using the following criteria:

• creativity and originality of photo (50%)
• composition and arrangement of photo (25%)
• relevancy to category topic (25%)

Judging will be conducted between November 10, 2009 – December 31, 2009. Judges will select one (1) First Prize, Second Prize and Third Prize Winner in each of the six (6) categories, and one (1) overall Grand Prize Winner from among all valid entries received.
