The object of the Contest is to showcase a cute pet Photo. One (1) pet should appear and be the focal point of the Photo. No humans should appear in the Photo. Photos must be of living pets only. The Entrant must be the owner of the pet and the Photo, or otherwise have the right to submit the Photo
The Photo must be in natural color or black and white; sepia tone and duotone Photos are not acceptable. Photos that have been altered, manipulated or enhanced using computer software programs will not be accepted. Minor adjustments to the Photo such as lightening or darkening areas of the Photo, slight contrast or color adjustments and cropping are acceptable.
Each Entrant is allowed one (1) Entry per e-mail address per day during the Contest Period. Each Entry must include the Photo or the Entry will be disqualified.

National Prize (1):
- $5,000 Cash
- $5,000 Gift card to the winner’s favorite pet store
- $5,000 to the winner’s charity of choice to benefit animals

The Photo submitted by each Finalist will be judged by a panel chosen by Sponsor and one (1) Photo will be chosen as the national prize winner. Judging of the Photos will be based on the following criteria: (a) overall impact of the Photo and adherence to the Contest theme (50%), (b) how well the Photo showcases the pet’s personality (40%) and (c) technical quality of the Photo, which should be sharp and properly exposed (10%)
