I hate putting all my personal info on a post card….this should be in an envelope to protect privacy!
I’ve been entering sweepstakes for 10 years, putting all kinds of information on postcards. Haven’t had a problem yet. This information is readily available to anyone who wants it. The only thing I wouldn’t put on a postcard is a SS#, but then again, I won’t enter any sweeps that ask for that. Only if I win do I give it to them!
I feel the same way, Betty. It’s true, like Cathy said, that the information we are putting on the postcard can be discovered if someone wants it, but it’s got to be searched for; here it is all in one place and out in the open. I feel somewhat better that the only people that will see this information are postal workers and the company we are sending to and I’m hoping they all get paid enough to not need to use our information for anything else 🙂
