Sweeties Sweeps Title Abbreviations Explained

To quickly be able to tell how many times you can enter a sweepstakes and what age you need to be, we have come up with a coding system. A reader, Cher, first emailed me about including something like this in the post title so we came up with a whole system. You have probably noticed it over the last week or so in the titles of the posts on the site. If you want to follow it this is what the codes look like and what they mean.

The number in front is how many times the sweepstakes can be entered. The next part tells how many per person, house, etc and whether it is per day, week, or month.

Examples:

• FB = Facebook Sweepstakes
• 1PP = One Per Person
• 1PPD = One Per Person Per Day
• 1PH = One Per Person Per Household
• 1PHD = One Per Person Per Household Per Day
• 1PPW = One Per Person Per Week
• 1PPM = One Per Person Per Person Per Month
• 1PHM = One Per Person Per Household Per Month
• Multi = Multiple ways are given to enter
• Ultd = Unlimited entries per person
• Unknown = Limit unknown
• Other = Special limits given

When you see a number behind a code that is the minimum age you need to be to enter the sweepstakes.

Examples:

• 1PP18+  = One Per Person, age 18 or older
• 1PP13+ = One Per Person, age 13 or older
• Multi18+ = multiple ways to enter, age 18 and older
• 1PPD18+ = One Per Person Per Day, age 18 or older
