There has been so much going on since my last winner’s post. Sweepstakes have been abundant with so many chances to win. Companies are fighting for your attention and want to get the word out about their new product, movie, or want to build up their fan base on Facebook. The result is a lot of chances for you and me to win prizes.

Yes, it’s been a busy month! I had taken a small break after getting pretty burned out, but starting up again has netted some nice prizes..mostly small but a few still took my breath away upon notification.

I went into the banking center in January to have the paperwork for the Comedy Central contest notarized and the woman helping me just kind of snubbed me off when I asked her about a contest they were having in the center. There was a treasure chest that random customers were sent out a key to unlock it when they had a “grand opening” event. If no one had the key to open the chest then a random ticket would be pulled from all the people that tried to open it.

I told her I would like to try, and asked her if she had any extra entries laying around? She kind of smirked and said I’ll look. But I reminded her before I left and she knew I wasn’t going to leave until I filled out an entry. So after all that she did go and find one for me, I read all the fine print and I was within the guidelines. So I tried my key and it didn’t work, so I then just filled out the entry and dropped it in the box. I never really thought about it again.

I WON TODAY! I’M SO EXCITED. I won $2,011 cash

I know you get thank yous all the time and here’s my THANK YOU once again for doing all that you do. Without you not many of us would be winning anything. And it’s no lie when I say that you’ve changed our lives.

OMG this is the biggest win I have had since started sweeping last August.

Had a little bit of a let-down yesterday when I received an email notifying me that my grand prize was arriving by UPS and it was a licorice package I already knew I won, but today I received a phone call informing me that I won this:

A couple weeks ago I won a $50 gift card from the EZ Car Rental Facebook giveaway. It was originally for a gas card, but they offered that or a $50 Amex card.

Plus, yesterday I actually got in on the Baskin Robbins Facebook $10 gift certificate giveaway. Ice cream always makes things better!

They are sending me paperwork so that they can verify that I am an eligible winner. The prize is 2 4-day passes to Heritage/Jazz fest and a travel voucher for $2500!!!

I am so excited!! I’m hoping the travel voucher is in the form of a Visa GC.
