It seems like a week doesn’t go by that I don’t hear from readers who have won and some are winning big like John K. He is a another perfect example of a “newbie sweeper” who won big. It doesn’t matter if you have been playing for a week or 10 years. That is why I say it really has nothing to do with luck. It has everything to do with how much you are willing to participate and keep at it. Thanks everyone for sharing your winning stories.
John’s win is also an example of how entering sweepstakes and other giveaways that are restricted to several states have better odds. This was a great sweepstakes. It was only open for a month, only open to 3 states, and had a lot of prizes. It was probably advertised through the stores listed at the bottom of the page.
I am going to be writing an article to teach you how to find local places to find giveaways. Stay tuned.
I just wanted to share my joy with you. I just received a phone call to tell me that I was the Grand Prize Winner in the Family Meals Music Deals Sweeps, a 3 state restricted sweeps that ran here in Wisconsin! Check it out… www.familymealsmusicdeals.com
I thought you would like this one since you are such a huge American Idol fan! Although, I can do as I please with the win. They are sending me $10,000 worth of American Express Gift Cards!
Unreal, just unreal. I have only been sweeping for 3 months. This is my first big win. I have a few $20 gift cards and a T- Shirt, but that’s been it. I was just doing this contest to win a $50 grocery Gift Card to our local grocery store to help with the bills. We are a hard working family, but not particularly wealthy. But, every day when I played the IWG, I got an entry for the grand prize…and it paid dearly. I have followed your advice and played every day, many sweeps. I spend about 2 hours a day sweeping. I am so grateful. The Lord has blessed us. Okay, I need to have a cup of tea and settle down here. Thanks for listening and have a great day.
Your friend,
John K
Thank you Wendy,

Note: I found a code now that everyone can use to enter 5 times a day. If you want to win from this Miller Chill sweepstakes use this code:
I won “something from the Captain’s Desk” in the Royal Caribbean Clues to the Cruise Sweepstakes. The notification didn’t say what it is. According to the official rules it could be anything from a $1.85 compass to a cruise.

There have been other winners but they posted on the sweepstakes listing or in the chatroom so I didn’t catch their story. If you want your winning story to appear next week in the winner’s post you need to email it to me.
Do you have a win to share?
Email me or fill out the contact form and I will add it to my winners post next week. You can also leave your winning story in a comment below.

Not a sweepstakes win, but I just wanted to tell you that I got that CVS/shoptext bag of goodies in the mail today. I was super excited – full size products (well, except for the tampons) in a pretty bag, with a giftcard!
Thanks so much for letting us know about that one.
