On the: Dell Win More Sweepstakes, I could not find where to enter. There is a square to check but it says: Do NOT enter me in the Dell Win More Sweepstakes not, enter me. Anyone else know where to click to enter?
You enter the Dell giveaway on that page. Just don't click in the box that says, DO NOT enter me.

Just wondering if you have won or encountered anyone who have won from SheKnows.com? I received an e-mail that is basically a form (sort of an affidavit)that I need to fill out in order to claim my prize. It asks for my SSN and a copy of my driver's license or ID to be sent to an address. Should I have this notarized by a lawyer? Is this normal? I did join the said contest but since this is my first time to win, I want to check first with others who may have better experience in contests if this normal procedure? There is no number in the e-mail that I could call though but the e-mail is from: [email protected].

Yes, last week someone won from SheKnows and emailed me about the same thing. Yes, you have to fill out that form and yes, that is normal. Congrats!

I have never done sweepstakes before and am worried about security. How do you know the difference between phishing schemes and legit request for information. Also how do you control the amount of junk mail you must receive from entering the sweepstakes.

Sign up for a new email address just for entering sweepstakes. For now just stick with entering the sweepstakes I post on this blog until you understand how to read official rules. When you do find a sweepstakes read the rules to make sure they don't sell your information or that you don't have to get a prize.
If a sweepstakes wants you to pay to enter then skip it. There are thousands of legitimate sweeps out there. Good luck!
