We received a hammock chair to keep and review and from the look of pure joy on my grand daughter Layla’s face, you will see that a hammock chair is so much more fun than a regular hammock. We own a regular hammock – kind that you tie in between two trees – and I can tell you from experience with three lively young grand daughters that a hammock chair is much better. A regular hammock is also fun but they would flip over and sometimes hit each other in the face while trying to get on and off.

A Hammock Sky Hammock Chair is extra large so it will fit the tiniest tot to the largest adult, up to 330 lbs. It measures 73-inches in length. Kids will spend endless hours hiding inside. Older kids might enjoy grabbing a book and reading for hours without anyone knowing they are even inside. Kids love to hide inside of things like tents and forts and the hammock chair is perfect for doing just that.

The Hammock Sky Hammock Chair is made from a heavy canvas and come in three colors – Iced Coffee (beige), Peach Echo, and Limpet Shell (we call it aqua and it’s what we are showing here). A strong knot attaches the chair to each end of the spreader bar. The spreader bar gives the chair structure and helps you get in and out easier. The thick macrame cord attaches to the swivel hook snap hardware that then attaches to the chain and hook – all which are included.

You even get a bonus macrame bottle or cup holder to hang alongside of your hammock chair. We hung our hammock chair on a sturdy tree limb in the yard. You could also hang it from a hook screwed into the ceiling in the house or on a porch. Just make sure you have a stud to screw it in. You may want to get a Hammock chair spring to hook your chair on.
