Do you have a favorite Disney character? I have several and I find new ones all of the time. Believe it or not, my mother was watching Peter Pan on TV with Mary Martin the night I was born and she named me Wendy after the Wendy character in the Peter Pan story. Yes, that was back in the day before color TV. There have been many versions of Peter Pan since then and Disney has made it into a cartoon but that original version always stuck with me.
Some of the newer characters and movies are now my favorites. I love, love, love the Pirates of the Caribbean series and Tangled is also a new favorite. My son recently saw the Avengers and he said that was very good. You don’t have to be a kid to like Disney characters and there are so many, usually you find one that connects with you in some way.
I don’t think we ever really grow up and Disney is one of those things that brings out the kid in all of us. I guess sometimes it’s not that we want to be a kid but we like to keep the dreams alive that we had when we were children and Disney evokes those memories and thoughts. We want to believe that there is a happy ending and that magical lands exist.

It is a hard choice between the princess’s…but my daughters favorite is Cinderella & Mine is Bell.
Stitch!!!!
My daughter loves Minnie Mouse! Thanks for the contest!
it’s Donald Duck. Love the temper tantrums.
My favorite Disney Character is Winnie the Pooh. As a 27 year old married woman, I still love Winnie the Pooh. My husband makes fun of me, but went out of his way to buy my all the Winnie the Pooh characters for Christmas from the Disney Store. He’s the best!
Goofy – He always makes me smile!
Belle is my favorite by far. She teaches that you don’t love through your eyes, you love with your heart. She shows that no matter who or what you are, you are capable of being loved and accepted. Belle teaches down to earth lessons in morals that all of us could use.
Absolutely the BEST!!!
Mary Poppins. She is perfect in every way. She can get people to work together nicely, animals love her, people love her, and she is absolutely magical.
I love Jiminy Cricket! He is the voice of reason.
Mickey mouse! Mickey has always been my fav! I love that Walt Disney himself drew Mickey!
Love Winnie the Pooh. My first stuffed animal as a kid was a pooh bear and he’s been my fav ever since!
Alice (in Wonderland)
The one and only, Goofy! I grew up thinking he was my best friend and have a huge collection of Goofy dolls. He is the best and I kinda have the same humor as him.
LILO….because she isn’t perfect but you still have to love her!
Belle from Beauty and the Beast! What a great lesson!
y favorite Disney Character is Cinderella as she over came family issues and was able to have a wondrful life.
The Little Mermaid, Ariel, I have many fond memories watching that as a child 🙂 and now my daughter loves her too!
My oldest daughter (who is 3 1/2) loves Rapunzel and ever since she was Rapunzel for Halloween last year she flips her hair out and says I have hair like Rapunzel. It is the cutest thing. My middle daughter doesn’t talk too much but she loves to dance to the music when Rapunzel sings, so Rapunzel will probably be her favorite too. My favorite has been Belle ever since I was a little girl because she is the only princess with brown hair so I could relate to that and I absolutely love her dress in the Beauty and the Beast.
Definetly Belle! I love Belle, it doesn’t get any better than a princess who loves to read!
The Little Mermaid is still my fave.
I like Belle, because she is so cute and nice.
I would have to say Donald Duck I love his voice and I think he is so funny
Chip n’ Dale were my favorite because they were always playing around and giggling.
Goofy has been mine for over 30 years now. I could completely decorate a house with the stuff I have. Best part though, my 2 year old has started watching Mickey Mouse Clubhouse, and her favorite character is …. Goofy! Like mother like daughter!
Mickey! I had a Mickey and Minnie themed wedding! Love Disney!!
