Do you have a favorite Disney character? I have several and I find new ones all of the time. Believe it or not, my mother was watching Peter Pan on TV with Mary Martin the night I was born and she named me Wendy after the Wendy character in the Peter Pan story. Yes, that was back in the day before color TV. There have been many versions of Peter Pan since then and Disney has made it into a cartoon but that original version always stuck with me.
Some of the newer characters and movies are now my favorites. I love, love, love the Pirates of the Caribbean series and Tangled is also a new favorite. My son recently saw the Avengers and he said that was very good. You don’t have to be a kid to like Disney characters and there are so many, usually you find one that connects with you in some way.
I don’t think we ever really grow up and Disney is one of those things that brings out the kid in all of us. I guess sometimes it’s not that we want to be a kid but we like to keep the dreams alive that we had when we were children and Disney evokes those memories and thoughts. We want to believe that there is a happy ending and that magical lands exist.

I love Cinderella because she is a beauty! One day i want to be like her! 🙂
as an adult my favorite disney character is Captain Jack Sparrow
Captain Jack Sparrow, for sure 🙂
Bambi, because as far back as I can remember, this was the first Disney movie I ever saw at a movie theater and I remember wishing I could visit Disney Land when I grew up (at that time, Disney World did not exist). Fortunately, my wish came true – when Disney World opened, I was in my early 20’s and visited the park the year it opened. Then, later on, when my children were 3 and 6 years old, our family took a trip to Disney Land. This is why I have vivid and fond memories of Disney – my children are now grown and I have two grandchildren ages 3 and 5 and I am hoping some day I can visit Disney World with them.
My favorite Disney character is Cinderella because she dispays an individual with such a sweet heart. She is giving and forgiving (especially to her family although she was the one done wrong to) which are characteristics I would love to see in more people today.
Ariel from the Little Mermaid because she is just so adorable and clueless almost all the time even though she really does have the best intentions at heart
I have always been partial to Eeyore. Even as an adult I can identify with Eeyore. How can you not love an adorable woe is me donkey.
My favorite Disney character is Snow White. I always loved watching the movie when I was a child.
My favorite character was Pluto because he was shy and so was I as a kid but he had a great lovong personality and always stepped up. I loved Disneyland back in the 60’s and how cool it was.
My favorite Disney Character is Mickey Mouse. Mickey reminds me of Disney and the wonderful memories of our family visits to Disneyland.
my grandaughter and I like snow white the best
My favorite Character is Goofy! I like to be funny and have a good time and goofy is funny and seems to like to have a good time!
I love Donald. I am just like him, (I’m told) with our tempers and all.
My favorite character has always been Belle from Beauty and the Beast! I love that she is a smart, courageous and selfless. 🙂 Another plus was that she loved to read and that is one of my favorite pastimes as well (besides sweeping lol).
Belle from Beauty and the Best, because she saw all the good and stood up for it. You have to stand for something or you fall for anything.
Winnie the Pooh is my all time favorite. He’s just a silly ole’ bear.
Belle! She is brunette, smart and beautiful!
I like Dumbo. I still own my Dumbo stuffed animal and it reminds me of my trips to Disneyworld when I was young.
I looooove Disney movies! As an adult I would have to say that my favorite is TinkerBell!
MY DAUGHTER AND I LOVE RAPUNZEL FROM TANGLED….WITH HER VERY LONG LONG HAIR AND HOW SHE WAS A DREAMER…
As a child my favorite disney character’s were Mulan and Pocahontas, as an adult… I have friends and co-workers who tell me I remind them of a white Pocahontas… I guess old habits die hard. She was a strong woman.
JIMINY CRICKET
is my favorite Disney character. I remember seeing him doing ‘the narration’ of Disney movies when I was a kid. His voice saying “Hey Kids”
meant that magic was about to begin. I would become so immersed in the Disney movies when I was a little girl. To this day (I’m 46 now), when I
hear that little scratchy cricket’s voice, it takes me back to my childhood. It was a big deal to be able to watch Disney on Sunday nights
or better yet, to go to the movies….Ahhh sweet memories of childhood.
I like Ariel. I always have.
My favorite has to go Donald Duck…I still love the old Donald Duck cartoons as an adult! When I think of Disney he is the first one that comes to mind!
Still love Dumbo – I have big ears too – haha
