Do you have a favorite Disney character? I have several and I find new ones all of the time. Believe it or not, my mother was watching Peter Pan on TV with Mary Martin the night I was born and she named me Wendy after the Wendy character in the Peter Pan story. Yes, that was back in the day before color TV. There have been many versions of Peter Pan since then and Disney has made it into a cartoon but that original version always stuck with me.
Some of the newer characters and movies are now my favorites. I love, love, love the Pirates of the Caribbean series and Tangled is also a new favorite. My son recently saw the Avengers and he said that was very good. You don’t have to be a kid to like Disney characters and there are so many, usually you find one that connects with you in some way.
I don’t think we ever really grow up and Disney is one of those things that brings out the kid in all of us. I guess sometimes it’s not that we want to be a kid but we like to keep the dreams alive that we had when we were children and Disney evokes those memories and thoughts. We want to believe that there is a happy ending and that magical lands exist.

My favorite Disney character is Mickey Mouse! My parents took me to Disney World when I was a child and from the moment I laid eyes on him, it was love at first sight! I was in amazement that I was actually standing right next to Mickey Mouse. That was a vacation that I will cherish for all my days. Thank you for the giveaway opportunity. 🙂
My favorite Disney character is Tramp. I love his free and easy spirit. The romantic scene between he and Lady over a dinner of spaghetti and meatballs is priceless.
My favorite is Belle from Beauty and the beast. It reminds me so much of my mom. She even bought me the barbie version of her when I was little which I still have today. She passed away 2 years ago. Every time I watch that movie it makes me both happy and sad at the same time!
