Enter the Staples for Students Sweepstakes for your chance to win a $50,000 Scholarship plus a trip to see Lady Gaga in Concert

Official Rules: open to US, DC, 13 and older. Begins on June 25 and ends on September 16, 2017. One entry per person per day. Limit one use per Code/Order Number. Random Drawing September 26, 2017.

With Purchase Online Entry: Visit staples.com and make a purchase of at least $25 and retain your 10-digit Order Number. To enter visit Staples For Students enter your Order Number from your online purchase and email address and if visiting the Website for the first time, you will then be prompted to complete all required fields of the onscreen registration form to receive one entry into the random drawing. On subsequent visits to the Website, you will only be required to submit your Order Number and email address. Each Order Number must be entered exactly as it appears on your online receipt. Order Numbers are subject to verification.

With Purchase In-Store Entry: visit a participating Staples location and make a purchase of at least $25 to receive one Code per purchase. The Code will print on a separate receipt. To enter the Sweepstakes, visit Staples For Students enter your Order Number from your online purchase and email address and if visiting the Website for the first time, you will then be prompted to complete all required fields of the onscreen registration form to receive one entry into the random drawing. Mail-in Without Purchase Entry: on a plain piece of 3” x 5” paper, hand print a brief statement (up to 100 words) telling Sponsor which Staples product you believe would be the most useful for a student to have in the upcoming Back to School season, along with your complete name, street address (no P.O. Boxes), city, state, zip code, email address, daytime phone number and date of birth (MM/DD/YYYY). Mail your entry in a hand addressed business-size (#10) envelope with first-class postage affixed, to:

One (1) Grand Prize: a $50,000 Scholarship, awarded in the form of a check co-payable to the winner and winner’s school; and a three day/two night trip for winner and one travel companion to attend the Lady Gaga Joanne World Tour, on December 16th, 2017 in Las Vegas, NV.  Trip includes round trip coach class air transportation to/from the major airport nearest winner’s home city and Las Vegas, NV, two nights’ hotel accommodations in Las Vegas, NV [one standard room, based on double occupancy], ground transportation to/from airport/hotel in Las Vegas, NV, admittance for two to the Staples for Students Winners VIP Celebration, and $75 spending money per person, per day ($225 total per person), awarded in the form of a Sponsor-specified gift card.  ARV: $53,450

NOTE: At the time of prize award, if the Grand Prize winner is a candidate for a degree at an educational institution that maintains a regular faculty and curriculum and normally has a regularly enrolled body of students in attendance at the place where it carries on its educational activities  or a parent/legal guardian of a Candidate then the prize will be awarded as stated above.  In the event the Grand Prize winner is the parent or legal guardian of a Candidate and Grand Prize winner wishes to designate the $50,000 Scholarship to Candidate who is his/her child/charge, the Grand Prize will be awarded in the form of a check co-payable to the Grand Prize winner’s child/charge and Grand Prize winner’s child/charge’s school.  If Grand Prize winner is not a Candidate or the parent or legal guardian of a Candidate, the $50,000 Scholarship will be awarded as a check issued in the name of the Grand Prize winner for deposit in a 529 plan (for whomever Grand Prize winner wishes to designate the 529 plan to), subject to taxes.  If the Grand Prize is issued as a co-payable check to the Grand Prize winner and the Grand Prize winner’s school or Grand Prize winner’s child/charge and the Grand Prize winner’s child/charge’s school, it will be deemed a Scholarship Prize.  Scholarship Prize is to be used solely toward the required tuition, fees, books or supplies in connection with the enrollment of the Grand Prize winner or Grand Prize winner’s child/charge at an educational institution that meets the requirements set forth in Section 117 of the Internal Revenue Code and the regulations thereunder.  If the Grand Prize is awarded as a deposit for a 529 plan, the Grand Prize is taxable as income and Grand Prize winner may elect for a portion of the $50,000 to be awarded in the form of a check to offset taxes (as mutually agreed upon between Grand Prize winner and Sponsor).  Scholarship Prize is not subject to Federal Income Tax if used in accordance with the requirements of Section 117 of the Internal Revenue Code.
