Orville Redenbacher is giving away over 2 MILLION prizes in their new instant win game. You could definitely be a winner.
Eligibility: open to legal residents of the fifty (50) United States and the District of Columbia who are at least eighteen (18) years old at the time of entry.
Entry Dates: begins on December 8, 2010 and ends November 30, 2011 at 11:59 p.m. ET
How to Enter: there are two ways to obtain a Game Piece
Make a Purchase: purchase a specially-marked package of Orville Redenbacher’s popcorn from a participating retailer. Each individual bag of popcorn in the specially-marked package will contain a Game Piece.
April 17th Update: I bought the popcorn twice now and won 2 times so far. I think it is cheaper to buy the popcorn than send away for the same piece. They are sneaky, putting the piece on the popcorn – that way it makes sure you buy it and not get it off the side of the box. The only way you find out if you won is to pop the popcorn that I see. The heat makes the black turn to white and then you have just about 30 seconds to write down the winning information. Someone did mention that you can use a hair dryer to make the black area turn white again. I wonder if you can use this technique and not have to pop the popcorn.

You don’t have to pop the popcorn to see if you’ve won. Use your hair dryer to reveal the game piece. 🙂

thanks for that. Just went and checked my 3 bags and I did win a Redbox code. Nothing big, but it’s a start! Now to find more coupons and buy some more popcorn. 🙂

Decided popcorn sounded good and bought a bag today, after reading this post. Found out that Orville Redenbacher was on sale and someone left a really nice coupon out for me to use, on the shelf. Won a bag of M&M’s on the first try! Woo hoo!

I mailed off for 4 codes. They came back today (I used steam from my hot tea to reveal codes) and 3 out of 4 were winners!
2 were the 50 snapfish
1 was a redbox rental
wooohoo

How long did it take you to receive your codes. I mailed several at the end of December and haven’t received them yet. Just curious to see if that’s normal??
Stephanie says
Hi Kristen,
I sent them out soon after this contest was posted on here so Late December/Early January. I received all 4 of them in the mail yesterday. Hopefully you won’t have to wait too much longer.

I mailed mine out in late dec. I just received a couple of them last week. So far out of the 8 I mailed one was a winner for 50 free snapfish photos. I know it says to allow 1-2 weeks for delivery but it took over a month and a half. Maybe with holidays and stuff it took a little longer.
Blaire Ruch says
won snapfish prints again 🙁

I was going to ask if you have to enter a new code each time you play, now I see that you have to. Might mail off for a couple of entries, purchasing the popcorn may be more cost effective. The popcorn is kind of expensive in the store, hopefully I can find a coupon or find it on sale. I agree that they are very sneaky on their part, guess the sales will increase for them. Hopefully, I can win something.

I sent for 4 codes at separate times and received them but they were still attached to two already popped bags….the envelope was greasy from the butter and of course they weren’t winners….but I laughed so hard!!!!! I was trying to figure out what kind of a freebie would be all greasy….lmao!!!!
