To celebrate Earth Month, National Geographic is sending one lucky winner and their three guests somewhere extraordinary. The choice is between two National Geographic-Lindblad Expeditions cruises: Alaska, where glaciers and vast wilderness redefine what’s possible, or the legendary Galápagos Islands, a sanctuary for unique biodiversity found nowhere else on the planet.

One (1) Prize Winner will receive their choice of one (1) National Geographic-Lindblad Expeditions vacation package from among the following two (2) trip options. Each Trip is subject to restrictions and conditions, including those set forth below, for the Prize Winner and up to three (3) guest(s). The Prize Winner and Guests together are referred to as the “Group”. Each Trip option is detailed below.
Trip #1 includes: One (1) eight (8) day/seven (7) night “Alaska’s Inside Passage and Hubbard Glacier” trip. Trip #1 will be operated by Tour Operator. Seven (7) nights of accommodation for up to four (4) people on Trip #1 including: Two (2) double occupancy rooms/cabins per location (location/category cannot be selected by Prize Winner). Maximum occupancy four (4) people. Internal air, if applicable. Services of local experts. Services of Expedition Staff. On-tour luggage handling. Crew gratuities. Scheduled meals. Roundtrip coach airfare between a major international commercial airport near Prize Winner’s residence (“Airport of Origin”) and an international airport at or near the originating and ending point of the Trip (each as determined solely by Company and/or Tour Operator, with possible stopovers) for the Group; and Tour Operator’s recommended group flights (i.e., short flights included within the itinerary), if applicable. Trip #1 is pre-scheduled for specific dates below, and subject to availability. The approximate retail value (“ARV”) of Trip #1 is U.S. $46,000.00. The actual value of Trip #1 may vary depending on a number of factors, including point of departure, fluctuations of room rates and airfares, and the number of travelers. Any difference between the ARV and the actual cost of Trip #1 will not be awarded. Prize Winner will also be given a one-time payment in the total amount of up to U.S. $18,400.00 for the intended purpose of helping defray payment of taxes payable as a result of Trip #1. The actual amount of the one-time payment may vary depending on the actual value of Trip #1. The Sweepstakes Entities do not make any representation or warranty that the foregoing amount will be sufficient to pay the Prize Winner’s tax liability. Prize Winner is solely responsible for all taxes.ARV: $64,400.00
Trip #2 includes: One (1) ten (10) day “Exploring Galapagos” trip. Trip 2 will be operated by Tour Operator. Nine (9) nights of accommodation for up to four (4) people on Trip #2 including: Two (2) double occupancy rooms/cabins per location (location/category cannot be selected by Prize Winner). Maximum occupancy four (4) people. Internal air, if applicable. Services of local experts. Services of Expedition Staff. On-tour luggage handling. Crew gratuities. Scheduled meals. Roundtrip coach airfare between a major international commercial airport near Prize Winner’s. Airport of Origin and an international airport at or near the originating and ending point of the Trip (each as determined solely by Company, with possible stopovers) for the Group; and Tour Operator’s recommended group flights (i.e., short flights included within the itinerary), if applicable. Trip #2 is pre-scheduled for specific dates below, and subject to availability. The ARV of Trip #2 is U.S. $68,280.00. The actual value of Trip #2 may vary depending on a number of factors, including point of departure, fluctuations of room rates and airfares, and the number of travelers. Any difference between the ARV and the actual cost of Trip #2 will not be awarded. Prize Winner will also be given a one-time payment in the total amount of up to U.S. $27,312.00 for the intended purpose of helping defray payment of taxes payable as a result of receiving Trip #2. The actual amount of the one-time payment may vary depending on the actual value of Trip #2. The Sweepstakes Entities do not make any representation or warranty that the foregoing amount will be sufficient to pay the Prize Winner’s tax liability.
