“The Most Dangerous Games” giveaway is a collaborative contest tied to the release of “The Most Dangerous Games” book co-authored by #MrBeast and James Patterson, offering you the chance to compete for a $1,000,000 grand prize. To participate, entrants must purchase an English print edition of the book, which contains hidden clues required to solve puzzles and advance in the competition.
Registration runs from September 1 to October 11, 2026, with the official games beginning on September 14.
Ten selected finalists will pass a background check and compete head-to-head in a final live challenge hosted by MrBeast.
ELIGIBILITY: Open to individuals who (1) are at least 18 years of age and the age of majority in their state/jurisdiction of residence; (2) are a legal resident of Australia, Mexico, United Kingdom, or the United States (excluding Maryland); and (3) have proof of purchase of printed physical English language books of “The Most Dangerous Games” by MrBeast and James Patterson
Certain Challenges may require access to your device’s camera. If a Challenge requires camera access, you will be prompted by your browser to grant permission before the Challenge can begin.
How to Enter: fill out the entry form and upload proof of purchase of the English print edition of the The Most Dangerous Games by MrBeast and James Patterson book in the form of an order confirmation or store receipt from an online or in-store purchase or pre-order dated no later than the last day of the Skill Contest Period, showing the retailer, and purchase date (ebook and audiobook purchases do not qualify)
During the Skill Contest Period, each Monday, Wednesday and Friday at or about 10:00 a.m. PT, a new skill-based challenge will be posted at the Website. You must complete each Challenge in full as directed before you can move on to the next Challenge, including any Challenge remaining from a prior week. Your response to each Challenge will be evaluated based on several skill-based criteria, which may include: accuracy to a correct answer, proximity to a graphical pinpoint, speed of submission, duration of participation, and willingness to continue (specific criteria used depends on each individual Challenge). You will have one chance to provide an answer for each Challenge and once your answer is submitted, you will not be able to change your answer.
For Skill Contest security purposes, you will not be notified whether or not you have provided a correct answer or your ranking amongst all Participants. Skill Contest Entities and their personnel will not enter into any correspondence, including email, with non-winning Participants relating to such Participants’ participation in the Skill Contest.
You may register to participate in the Skill Contest at any time during the Skill Contest Registration Period. You do not need to begin on September 14, 2026, although speed of response is one factor in determining ranking and the ultimate winner.
After the conclusion of week 4, the top ten (10) Participants based on their cumulative score throughout the Skill Contest Period as determined by Sponsor in its sole discretion will be considered potential “Finalists” and will have the opportunity to proceed to the Finalist Event. Sponsor reserves the right to verify the results before the top ten (10) is confirmed, including reviewing for irregularities, technical faults, or rule violations, but is not required to review every submission individually. Sponsor’s decisions during such review period shall be final and not subject to change.
On or about October 21, 2026, the potential Finalists will be contacted by representatives of Sponsor using the email address and/or telephone number provided at registration and will be required to respond to the notification as directed within twenty-four (24) hours.
The Finalist Event is currently scheduled to take place between November 8, 2026 – November 21, 2026. At the Finalist Event, the ten (10) confirmed Finalists will participate in one (1) or more “Beast-like” skill challenges based on the Book to determine the Grand Prize winner. The Finalist Event may take place virtually or in person within the United States.
One (1) Grand Prize is available. The Grand Prize consists of USD $1,000,000 awarded to the one confirmed winner in a method determined by Sponsor.
