McDonald’s is bringing back its Monopoly promotion nationwide on Oct. 6th with a simplified, app‑based game that lets customers peel stickers from eligible menu items to win instant food rewards, loyalty points, or major prizes such as a $1 million cash prize, a 2027 Jeep Cherokee, or a year of free food.
Download and Set Up the McDonald’s App:
- Download the McDonald’s App on your mobile device.
- Register for a McDonald’s account and opt into MyMcDonald’s Rewards.
Register for the Game: Open the app and complete your Game registration before making purchases or playing to ensure your plays and bonus Chance Cards are properly credited.
Obtain Game Pieces:
With Purchase (Oct 6 – Nov 1): Buy eligible menu items in-store or order through the McDonald’s App. Specially marked items will include physical Game Pieces containing codes. Ordering eligible items via the app after registering also earns you a Bonus Chance Card play.
Enter Your Game Codes:
- Open the McDonald’s App and navigate to the Monopoly Game section.
- Scan or enter the codes found on your physical Game Pieces (up to 8 Game Piece codes and 8 Chance Card plays per day).
Play the Chance Card Game & Collect Properties:
- Play your Chance Cards directly in the app before November 8, 2026 at 11:59:59 p.m. Local Time.
- Collect property sets for “Collect to Win” prizes or win Instant Win and Chance Card prizes.
Claim Your Prizes: Redeem food prizes, Rewards Points, or digital codes inside the app or follow the provided instructions before the final Prize Claim Deadline on November 22, 2026

Within the outer envelope there must be one self-addressed envelope that uses the Participant’s complete mailing address and sufficient return postage. Vermont residents may omit return postage. Limit one Request per outer envelope.
Please Note: When the Participant receives a Game Piece through this method specifically and enters the Game Code from that Game Piece in their My Game Account, they will also get one bonus Chance Card Game play deposited in the Participant’s My Game Account, that Participant can use to play the Chance Card Game. The Chance Card Game ends at 11:59:59 p.m. LT on November 8, 2026, and any Game Piece received through this method that is entered into your My Game Account after that time will not result in earning a bonus Chance Card Game play.
When a Participant peels a Game Piece, it will reveal one of four types of Game Piece. To claim what was revealed, the Participant must scan/enter the unique alphanumeric code found on the Game Piece in the McDonald’s App. To do so, open the McDonald’s App, click on the Monopoly banner, then click the “Add Code” button and scan/enter the Game Code from your Game Piece.
