Entry Dates: begins at 12:00:00 AM ET on 2/14/11 and continues through 11:59:59 PM ET on 4/10/11.

How to Enter: Five (5) questions will be posted at www.marlboro.com each Monday at the beginning of each week during the Promotional Period. Follow the instructions to submit your answers for entry into the Sweepstakes. You will automatically receive one entry into the weekly prize drawing and one entry into the Grand Prize drawing when you submit your answers to the five questions posted each week.

NOTE: They ask you for the last four digits of your SSN. This is why: Social Security Number information helps ensure we don’t confuse you with another person. We understand that protecting your private information is an important concern. Remember, all information is submitted over a secured connection. Your answers need not be correct to receive an entry; however, answers to all five questions must be submitted to receive an entry.

Entry Limit: one entry per person per week. Entries will not be rolled over to subsequent weekly prize drawings.

(200) Grand Prize: A Ranch Trip-Each Grand Prize consists of a 4-day/3-night trip for two (2) to a Ranch in the western United States in 2011 and includes round-trip coach air transportation from winner’s and traveling companion’s nearest commercial airport, Ranch accommodations, meals while at the Ranch, Ranch activities and a check for the winner in the amount of $750.00.   3. OK so this may be a stupid question but do you need to smoke to enter. I tried to sign-up but said I didn’t smoke and it wouldn’t let me???

    • Correct. Marlboro is a cigarette company and they require that you are a smoker of cigarettes to register and to also enter their sweepstakes. I indicated that in my post

  5. I don’t get it… it keeps saying “Unfortunately, we’re unable to allow you access to Marlboro.com at this time.
    Marlboro.com is only available to adult cigarette smokers 21 years of age or older.”

    • It is definitely live because it took my entry. You have to log into your account and if it doesn’t come right up click PROMOS on the toolbar to click on it.

  10. Do you have to be a regular smoker, what if you only smoke once in a while? I wonder how private the information is, hopefully they do not share it with insurance companies or else you rates will go up.

    • I don’t think they check to see how much you smoke. I really don’t know about the insurance company but I wouldn’t think they could share that information unless you gave them permission. Of course, I haven’t read their pages and pages of rules either.

    • Marlboro has no way of knowing who smokes and who doesn’t. Anyone can sign up at any given time.. They make keep record of what freebie coupons you apply for under the promotions( our little gift ever so often) I would do those and give em away if you dont smoke. There may be some sort of guideline on signing up close to a promotion,I’m not sure…

    • Be careful on 1 of the true false questions…I know when I selected the correct one the little x would come off kinda quick..I think its a trick wanting some to select the other wrong answer…soon as you select the right answer(think is was the true/false answer) dont wait for it show the x,hit submit real quick..hope this helps.

  16. Your answer to the first question is wrong there are only four different varieties, they have videos right on the website showing the answer. Peppermint, Amber, Spearmint and Rich

  17. Also not mentioned in the Grand Prize details is this: “Winner must agree to depart and return on dates specified by Presenter and attend the ranch location specified by Presenter. If winner cannot travel on the dates specified, trip may be forfeited… A valid, unexpired driver’s license may be required to be eligible to participate in certain activities at the Ranch.” They sent me an invitation to enter a promo currently on their site called “Team Marlboro” where you write a 150-word essay on “why keeping the West wild and free is important to you” and make a 90-sec video displaying your traits that “make you a solid contributor to keeping the West wild and free.” They have 10 projects and are looking for 100 people to do this. Prize will include a paid trip up to 7-days to a project site where you work hands-on for 8 hours a day. After the project is complete, you will get a check for $6,000. This promo started Feb. 14 and entries must be received by Mar. 9, so you can say the chances of winning are good. Sounds really cool but I’m not a smoker and I’m not sure I want to be faking it and hanging out with other smokers and get busted. I have a feeling the “Team Marlboro” thing will be filmed and the people who win the Grand Prize for the Snus Challenge is probably going to be backdrop people. Just a guess.

  18. I love Marlboro, they really do give the greatest prizes. I received a very nice canon camera 12 mega pixels from the last challenge, and an ashtray, lol. I’ve also gotten a poker chip set from them, it is also very nice. They are not cheap on their prizes. I was counting down for this one, ready to win more prizes!!! Good luck everyone!

    • It’s by invite only. If, when you log onto the Marlboro site, it takes you to a box that says, “TEAM MARLBORO JOIN NOW” then you were “invited”. You’d know if you were invited or not by that alone because it’s the default page when you log on. Plus, I got an email inviting me. Neither my sister or my mom got one, so I feel “special” – LOL! But I’m applying – it’s be a BLAST! plus I’ve heard about all the free gear they give you when you go to the Ranch, plus the check – oh yeah, count me in! I’m crossing my fingers that they’ll take me – still working on my video though. We have until March 9th to submit the video and 150 word essay.

  21. What do you put for an answer for the second week number three if it is a trick question? It says all places. Does this mean you have to check al four? If you check nothing, it won’t let you go on to the next question.

    Also, Where do I get in on the video for $6000.00? I sure could use it. Broke both my ankles and just got my cast off last week. I need to make some quick money.
