I am a newly divorced, full-time single mom who is presently job hunting. The appliances in my home are white and from 1996, the year the home was built. I would love to win your appliances so that I can make my kitchen somewhat nicer for my 10 year old son and myself. We have had so many difficult life changes over the past 15 months and financially, I’m in no position to update anything in our outdated home. Thank you for this opportunity.
I would like to win the appliances because those that I do have are not energy efficient AT ALL. The fridge is pretty old about 15 years when you pass by you can feel a cool breeze. The stove is almost as old maybe 12 years. Just a simple stove, Manual clean and no other bells and whistles. The dish washers vary in efficiency. Depending on how tired I am that day. I hand wash 1-3 times a day. I do not have an electric dishwasher. My washer and dryer are both archaic. So old they did not come with the stickers that tell you how much energy they use per year but I can say it is too much. Beside the fact that I do not think I will get off the grid during my lifetime I would like to spend the remainder of my life using the grid wisely. With that said thank you for the chance to hope.
I would give anything to have appliances I could actually use from my wheelchair. It is extremely difficult to arrange access to my current appliances. Thank you LG for even giving me a chance to make my dream come true.

I purchased our house in1993. At that time I was a single mom. My first Thanksgiving dinner almost never happened becaue the appliances were so old. I couldn’t use the stove and oven at thesa e time. I was fortunate tobeab.e to replace these appliances. Fast forward 20 years and eight grandchildren later….in 2006 I married the man of my dreams. 9 months later a 1947 farmall tractor rolled over on top of my husband……..our 15 year old son saved his life by jacking the weight of tne tractor off my husband. Crush injuries are devastating. After a week in the hospital and months of recovery my husband was able
to return to work. I have held not only our family but our family business together through all of this. One of the biggeat ways of doing this is to cook family meals. It helps to keep us conected with family and friends. But my appliances are worn and need replacing. The oven is like 25 degrees off and one of the burners on my stove doesn’t work and my refrigerator is making funny noises. I would love to have new appliances so I can cook in confidence for our family and friends.

My husband just retired. We lost our home several years ago. We rent now. I love to cook and L g appliances are so absolutely beautiful. We are in our 60’s and really do not have the finances to afford your superior appliances. How wonderful it would be to Finally have functional and gorgeous appliances. I go to appliance stores and just dream about having an lg kitchen. This evening I watched HGTV and a couple renovated their kitchen with all of your products. I was so very happy for them, and I wished it were me. You would not be sorry if you chose me…….I recommend your products to everyone I know…..can you imagine what a rep I would be if I Actually owned them. I was force to retire by a disability so I have a fix income, would be marvelous to have appliances that make most of your home, the advance technology makes life easier and financially better due to their energy efficiency.
My husband and I purchased our home 3 months. Our home was built in 1978 and still has the original appliances, our appliances are not energy efficient but after making a large investment into our new home we are unable to add new appliances at this time. We would be so appreciative and very grateful if we were the recipients of the appliances to make our home energy efficient.
I would love to have for once in my adult life all matching Appliances. I have a used washer, dryer and I am not complaining as they both work great and my dishwasher is about 30 years old. We have been in our house for 19 years now and have replaced our Refrigerator once and our stove top with a close out. I had to buy a new double oven as the one that was in the house caught fire. I wish I would be able to replace all my Appliance to match and I would then Donate my Appliance to Habitat For Humanity.

Hi, just saw your sweepstakes ad on HGTV. I thought this would be a perfect opportunity to apply. I have been in the hospital patiently awaiting a heart transplant. I have had an LVAD heart pump for the last three years. My pregnant wife and I were living happily,eagerly awaiting the birth of our first child.on night suddenly my heart pump had complications , therefore landing me back in the hospital. I was in the middle of doing construction of our home when this happened. Since, I am no longer able to work for a long undetermined time, everything around the house was put on the back burner. We are barely making it financially and the new appliances will help greatly so I can finish the basement area to rent to a family member. This will greatly improve the chances of remaining in our home during my recover after the transplant (whenever it comes). When my wife won’t be able to work after her pregnancy, we will strongly rely on family and friends to keep us afloat. So, indirectly new appliances will be of a great help to my family. Please keep my family in your prayers to anyone who reads this. God Bless
