Could you clarify the email method. Is it only one time or 10 times a day? Thanks
Sweetie says
10 times per day through email, not 1 per day.
Idaho Jill says
I sent emails today & got them all back with a failure notice…wonder if they are overloaded?
karla says
I just sent emails and got them all back, too!
Sweetie says
IT DOESN'T START UNTIL OCT 1ST
Sharon says
Do you enter 10 per day M-F?
Sweetie says
Sharon – yes

It's still not working.
Cathy says
Just tried now, still not working
Anonymous says
Yeah I got a permanent error message from yahoo mailer daemon.
Kiki says
Yep! Me too. Tried twice and got the same error message. I checked their official rules and it's the correct e-mail address. If someone finds the fix, please let us know.
Anonymous says
I tried sending three emails and got error messages back. I tried sending emails without a subject line and was able to send six so far without getting an error message back.
Sweetie says
It may be fixed now as I tried it both ways, with and without a subject line and it hasn't bounced back to me yet.
Kiki says
I just received an automated e-mail stating that there are two ways to enter – 1) pay bills electronically or 2) send a postcard with your contact info.
Did they change the official rules?
Katmotley says
The rules now say you can enter with a postcard, not an email.
Sweetie says
I bet they got so many emails they didn't know what to do 🙂 I will have to update my rules. Thanks!

I agree Wendy. I was wondering how they were going to keep up with the emails! LOL
"E" says
So Wendy, I am wondering what happens to the valid e-mail entries, generated in accordance with the official rules promoted a full day prior to the start of this sweepstakes? This initial batch of e-mails were sent by contest participants, (possible like myself very early AM), in good faith and apparently accepted by the sponsors on October 1st and 2nd? Are these entries now going to be considered invalid?
The rules indicate that the random drawings for each of the individual daily sweeps will take place 5 business after the posted close of that sweeps entry date. How are we to know if our entries are going to be included in these first two rounds of random drawings for the winners selections?
Candidly, this sweeps is beginning to develop major problems,(#2 thus far) within less than 72 hours after it's original launch. Folks should keep in mind that this is a financial group that promotes business relations. If a contestant is fortunate and actually wins one of the $1,000 daily prizes or the grand prize of, $10,000 they will be mandated to open one of ING DIRECT's regulated accounts to deposit that money. Winners can't simply walk away with check in hand! If the promoters of this sweeps had not thought through the fairly basic tabulation of the potential for daily e-mails that would have been generated by just a handful of contestants, what does this say about their ability to do other financial planning?
Sweetie says
E, you are absolutely right but I am not sure there is anything we can do. You could try to send them an email to the email address you sent entries to and ask them if those email entries you sent would be valid now that they changed the rules.
absweeps says
This leads me to another question….If you mail your entries on a Friday and they aren't picked up and postmarked until Saturday, are those entries invalid since the sweepstakes is Monday-Friday? I just called the 1-800 # and the lady on the phone was just as confused as I am. I will have to email them.
