#HP #Win7 Make sure you have a chance to enter this to win an HP Mini with Windows 7. Is there really a way to simplify your life with all of this technology? I don’t know for sure but the HP Mini with Windows 7 promises to help me do just that.
I was just reading over at the Mom Bloggers Club how I could win an HP Netbook with Windows 7 installed and I decided I wanted to participate to try to be one of the six winners.
I know that if I had Windows 7 that I could easily integrate all 4 of my home computers together and be able to share applications and documents much easier than I am now.
When I travel I have to take my computer with me. As a full-time blogger I can’t go anywhere without the technology that keeps me running because I need to keep on top of posts, tweets, Facebook fans, emails, and be able to post the “hot” sweepstakes as they come out.
Taking a bulky laptop is cumbersome, heavy, and not possible. Being able to use a lightweight Mini computer like the HP Mini 110 would make things much more convenient. I have been using a Netbook but find that it is not fast enough to handle what I do. You see, I usually have 5 to 7 programs open and 20 to 30 windows open all at the same time in Firefox so I need a computer that can keep up with me. I guess you could say that I’m a power computer user. I haven’t found one yet that can keep up with my lifestyle. If I win this Mini computer I will put it to the test for sure.
It seems to be one sweet computer too with a wide 11.6″ screen, 250GB harddrive, 1024MB of RAM, and Intel Atom N270 1.60 GHz Processor. I have been dying to try Windows 7 and this might be just my chance to do it.

I want it!
As a person with Multiple Sclerosis I think this woudld be such a help because it is smaller than a computer but would allow me to acces the oustside world! I would be so greatful!
Now this is something I could really use, as a single, disabled mother of 2 toddlers. Thanks!

I cant afford windows 7 but i would love to have a laptop in my house!! My son would love this too!
I know a HP Mini would make all the difference with me also, while I am at home or on the go. I can quickly get to my photos and files, take notes, send a letter off to friends, teachers and family, able to work on my scrapbooks while sitting and waiting for the kids at band or dance practice, very lightweight to take with me on the go. I can easily use my calendar and look at our busy schedules. At night I can work on my blog, that really needs to be updated without waking anyone up, I can enjoy a little quiet Mommy Time.

I would love to win this laptop because it would help make me be able to communicate when I am mobile. I don't have a iPhone, nor a iPod Touch, and I really don't have a way to communicate with friends and family when I am on the road. Winning this laptop would give me that ability. I could use the interent in hotels. Thank you for this chance! It would be incredible to win this.
I would love to win this powerhouse. I need something small, fast and portable. I'm in the stone ages w/ my desktop running on Windows XP, please chose me, I'd put this thing to use!!!
Winning the HP Mini with Windows would definitely simplify my life. Although I don't travel a lot like you do, I work out in the field, and it would be great to be able to type up my work or shoot off an email while in the field instead of waiting till I get back to the office. Also, as a person who loves to enter sweepstakes and blog giveaways and save money with coupons, I never want to miss a thing, so being able to be connected to internet in a portable manner would allow me to be more efficient in keeping up on things. A bulky laptop does not work for me because I have a bad back and so I need something more lightweight without compromising power and capacity. I like to do my work with multiple applications open at the same time so I can toggle back and forth and be as efficient as possible. I think the HP Mini with Windows is the perfect computer for me.

Good luck to everyone! Hopefully I will win a HP Mini 110. A HP Mini will help simplify my life as follows:
1. No more waiting for my boyfriend to get done using the computer. What a blessing to have my own to use anywhere around the house.
2. Integrate my applications and documents from my PC to the mini computer.
3 Ability to open 10 or more windows at one time to enter sweepstakes, read e-mails, surf the internet.
4. Can't wait to try Window 7 jumplist and snap.

I just graduated with a computer degree in 2009 and have been running a five year old HP Pentium 4 desktop.
I would really like a new HP laptop to ensure I'm up to date with the most recent stuff since I'm the one my family and friends call with a computer issue.
thank you, Lisa, [email protected]

Crossing my fingers on this one. This is what I really wanted Santa to bring. Hopefully the New Year will be kind to me.
My grand-daughter got a HP Windows 7 book for Christmas. It is fantastic. I would love to win one of these, not only because it can pull it all together but also playing games on it is great.

Would love to win this!!!
The HP Mini 110 by Studio Tord Boontje simplifies life in a way every modern-day Henry David Thoreau will love. Though I didn’t write Walden, I would like to tell you briefly why this computer looks and feels as if it is specifically tailored to simplify our family’s life.
1. I am the mom of a sassy and independent 26-month-old and an almost 2-month-old. Therefore, the HP Mini’s small size would be perfect for me, because, as a petite person, I could more effectively and quickly get up and about so I could grab my baby for feedings and cuddling while also attempting to engage an active toddler. All while NOT being weighed down by a mammoth PC.
2. The features of the HP Mini and Windows 7 (or WindowsXP, for that matter) fit our family’s pared-down lifestyle AND world view by meeting our needs for a compact yet “eco-compassionate” computer. I say "eco-compassionate" because the Mini by Studio Tord Boontje’s packaging is made from recycled materials and printed with soy-derived inks–and the LED display is mercury-free. Compact because it is under 3 pounds. The floral design is also fitting because my husband works at a botanical garden and we grow our own edible garden as a family.
3. Because of both choice and necessity, I work from the home as a freelance editor, fact-checker, and writer. For my work, Microsoft Office (and Windows, moreover) is the gold standard. No offense to Microsoft, but Windows 7 looks like it erases Vista. I love the features of Windows 7, which I have not had the pleasure to use yet (owing to finances) but have read about. In particular, the jump lists look to be enormous time-savers. This is because, at times, I have 10 or 15 tabs open in my browser so that I may fact-check a passage of text and it would be wonderful if whenever I logged onto my computer–which, with an infant in the house can be at any hour of day or night!–I instantly had jump lists of my regularly visited Web sites (in Internet Explorer) and the same kind of lists when I use another of my essential programs: Microsoft Word. That the HP Mini can devote up to 8 GB of hard drive space to system software recovery programs is really just chocolate icing on the proverbial computer cake!
So, not only would this computer allow a smaller, more compact laptop that seems created especially for a home-based, eco-minded mom like me who works with words, but it would save me time (through increased work productivity), which translates to the best thing of all–more time with my two little ones and husband!
Thanks to Sweetie, as well as Mom Bloggers Club, for the opportunity to share my perspective, adding it to those of many other worthy readers.
GLTA!
Leigh
