On January 4th you and your child can make a Wooden Piggy Bank at The Home Depot. Register for this Free craft class today. The Home Depot Kids Workshop events are on the first Saturday of every month from 9 a.m. to noon.
Home Depot’s Kids Workshop is a free, in-person event held on the first Saturday of each month from 9 a.m. to 12 p.m. It welcomes children of all ages, though it’s recommended for ages 5 and up. Each workshop offers young builders a hands-on experience with a themed project. Participants receive a pre-cut wooden kit, a Kids Workshop apron, a certificate of completion, and a commemorative pin to celebrate their achievement. This engaging event provides families with a fun and educational opportunity for kids to build their own keepsakes and enjoy the process of learning basic tool skills.
How It Works
Register on the website and then arrive with your child during workshop hours, and they’ll receive all the materials needed to complete that month’s project. While registration is encouraged to help manage attendance, it does not guarantee a kit. Supplies are limited and are distributed on a first-come, first-served basis, so early arrival is recommended.
For families unable to attend the in-store event, Home Depot offers the option to purchase Kids Workshop kits for at-home activities.
