As I read the rules, you can turn down a portion of the prize.
It would be cool to see all the stars but that’s one expensive dinner. It would be better if the let you go but not have to pay for those spots.
At least they could give cash to offset taxes! Gotta be pretty well-off to not care about the big tax bill that will follow!
