This sweepstakes is definitely worth entering by mail because they are giving away 100 laptop computers along with the large cash prizes.

Update!
Do NOT send a postcard. The rules state 3 x 5 card and not postcard. A 3 x 5 card ALWAYS gets inserted in an envelope. Review the mail-in basics article I wrote for more details
Note: I do not see a limit to how many you can mail-in so it is probably unlimited.

The winner will be contacted by phone, U.S. Mail and/or e-mail according to the contact information provided on their entry forms. If a potential winner cannot be contacted within seven (7) days following attempted notification or the prize notification is returned as undeliverable, the potential winner may be disqualified and an alternate potential winner may be contacted.

The Embassy Sweeps mail-in requests a 3×5 card. Do they mean a postcard or envelope with a 3×5 card in it? Because the PO doesn't deliver anything under 3.5×5, and an envelope increases mailing costsgreatly. I can't find anything on the site that clarifies, nor can I find any contact information so I can get this cleared up.
A 3×5 card is basically an index card without lines. You put it in an envelope. You should never mail a 3×5 card in the mail as a postcard because it is too small.
Here is the article about mail-ins sweetiessweeps.com/2009/04/mail-in-sweepstakes-basics.html
What does "majority" age mean? I didn't know if I should enter for my son (graduating from high school) or does it mean over the age of 18? If I won, can I transfer the scholarship money to him? If he isn't 18, would he be disqualified?
Thanks
The age of majority depends on your state. For some it is 18 and others 19 I believe.
what is upromise account?
I wrote what a Upromise account is all about here

It does not specify a envelope size, can I use anyone?
Sharon, Yes, any envelope will be fine.
It states that they will notify you by mail/email. But email is not required for a mail-in entry. Will my entry be disqualified if I include "extra" information such as my email address? I would just be afraid if they notify me by mail that it would take to long.
Julie,
No, you usually will not be disqualified if you add extra information; only if you don't add what is required.
As far as mailing in entries, do you think we could send in multiple entries in one envelope, since it doesn't exactly specify 1 entry per envelope? Thanks!
No, NEVER put multiple entries into one envelope unless it specifically tells you can do that. I don't want you to waste your stamps by doing that. Multiple entries in a single envelope will almost always be disqualified. If you are unsure about doing mail-ins read my article under the Article Index at the top of the page.
Thank you Wendy for answering my question. Here's another one– how many entries would you personally mail in for this contest?
I think the odds are very good by mail so enter as many as you are able. Stamps are expensive and anytime you enter by mail you know you will have to buy them without a guarantee that you will win. I am probably going to enter this 10 times and them space those entries out from now until the date they are due. Make sure your last entry is postmarked by September 6th if you are waiting until the last minute to enter. If you can afford 20 entries then send that many but either way remember, there is no guarantee you will win any sweeps so be willing to buy the stamps forget that you spent that money if you don't win.
