Nobody said it had to be sad. This will be a random drawing. She loves happy stories. Sad stories aren’t shared with her unless the drawing winner happens to be a sad story. Everyone associated with this show loves to help those who are struggling, doing great things for other/their community, and schools. We all know how the schools outside of wealthy districts struggle to get even the most basic supplies like paper, pens, crayons, etc… This drawing, all drawing by Warner Bros, is handled by an outside accounting firm. Other giveaways where they are seeking to help someone in need are not considered a sweepstake and therfore don’t require an outside firm for legal reasons. Hope this helps clarify for you. I really do absolutely love you Ellen! I have followed you from the very beginning. Your stand up comedy, your sitcome, your talk show. The one thing I have always tried my best to do, and teach my daughter Sami to do, is to always be kind to one another. I’ve always told her that one smile can change someone’s whole day, or maybe their life. I was never taught or shown that when I was growing up. I was extremely abused in every disgusting way by both parents and oldest brother. But I survived, left when I was 18 and never looked back. And I don’t, nor ever have been a vengeful person. I just made a promise to myself to never intentionally hurt anyone. And I love you for your kind heart, and wanting to make people smile. You are one of a kind.

Some of you have good stories that you could submit to Ellen. Maybe it doesn’t have to be “sad”, but her rules say to tell her why you deserve the prize. I think she just wants to give the prizes to those who would really appreciate them! 🙂

We got our answers by recording the shows and watching them back. It may be that the shows are different in your markets. But the shows match up with the questions for each day in my market
