Hi. And thank you for this opportunity. I have a question about the contest. Can I design my own drawing on a peace of paper and mail it in or do I have to pick out one of your cups design lay out on your site to create a cup ? THANKS
I don’t run the contest but I took a look at their website and it looks like you have EITHER use their template found here. Download it, design, save it and upload it https://www.agtdesignacup.com/user-upload OR use their online creator https://www.agtdesignacup.com/customization
I entered the contest but misspelled a word… am I able to edit or correct the word?
YOU CANNOT CHANGE IT OR ELSE WE FIND YOUUUUU!!!!!

Nevermind, I got it 😀
I downloaded the template but it’s not proportional to your given dimensions of: 9.073 x 11.993. Also you’re not establishing which measurement is first – guessing it’s “height x width?” I downloaded your template, and in Photoshop, I proportionally sized down the blue area to 9.073 inches (tall) which takes its width to 9.839 inches (not 11.993 even if we include the bleed dimension, we are still missing approximately 2 inches). Trying another approach, I sized the blue area down to the height of 11.993 but the width grows to 13.005. So I’m curious why the template is sized differently than the prescribed dimensions? Most importantly, if I use the given template and send it back to you just as I received it with all of its submission guidelines text and title – sized at 37.806 x 49.972 inches at 72 dpi – you’ll cut out my design I included extending to the redlined box – and all will wrap perfectly around the cup? I’m needing this answer because I designed my artwork to the prescribed dimensions and its not at fitting within the template area … please advise ASAP! Many thanks!
I can answer a portion of my own confusion. I was misunderstanding the “template size” to be describing only the actual design area (the red or blue box dimensions). I took the downloadable PNG file (37.806 x 49.972 inches at 72 dpi – which includes title and instructions) and proportionally reduced its size down until it reached 9.073 x 11.993. Which then begs another question. Why describe the smaller size as the “template size” when the downloadable file is not that size? Do you want me to size it down to 9.073 x 11.993 and increase the dpi to 300 so it’s a high-resolution image? Or do I ignore the smaller dimension (9.073 x 11.993) listed on the actual template and use the downloadable PNG as is (37.806 x 49.972 inches at 72 dpi) as my artwork submission? Thanks!
hi im precious colvin, I have a question how do u get the Photoshop to edit for my picture? I had downloaded the template size and like I wont work for me and can you help me with this its july 8th and tomorrow is july 9th plz and thanks
Hi Precious Colvin – Photoshop will only open the file so I’m not sure what you’re asking? Please be more specific with your questions and I will try to answer them. Once you open the file in Photoshop, I suggest creating an additional layer and draw on that layer. If you’re not already skilled in Photoshop, now is probably not the time to start learning given the deadline is tomorrow. I think the contest tool might be a better way to go: https://www.agtdesignacup.com/customization.
And the template they provide does not fit the proportions. It’s very odd. The 9.073 x 11.993 includes all the instructions and graphics. But the bleed line template they say to use a totally different size. When I tried to use that, it gave an error message that it was the wrong file size.
When I upload the file with the proper dimensions, it crops the image in a dramatic way on the top and bottom. Only the middle of my design shows on the cup. It does not scale the image properly but instead it crops it terribly. What do I do?
Hi John … size the entire original downloadable template, instructions and all, to the 9.073 x 11.993 size (I also changed it to 300 dpi in Photoshop) … I save it as a PNG or JPG file and upload that entire file. The tool crops the design exactly correctly from that template and only your design will appear on the cup. Good luck!
hi I need help I have all the information in for the dunkins don’t cup contest and it says im not ebile to do it and I am over 18 ans ITS THE LAST DAY SOME PLZ HELP!!
Hi Precious … is it possible that you already submitted a previous design when playing with the online design a cup creator tool? Not sure what else would restrict your eligibility. Make sure you accept the conditions of the competition when you go through the submission steps.
