I’m ready to write the essay, but I notice the contest prompt just says “Comment *” without any actual question or topic for me to respond to. Could you share what the full contest prompt or question is asking? For example, is it asking why you want to win a particular prize, what something means to you, or how you would use a product or experience?
Once I know what the contest is actually asking, I can write something genuine and natural for you.
Hey! So, I’m Morgan Farris, and I’m a graphic designer living in the little community of Irishtown, New Brunswick with my husband. Life out here is pretty wonderful, honestly. There’s something about small-town living that keeps you grounded while still letting your creativity run wild, which I think makes me pretty good at what I do.
I spend my days designing, and I genuinely love it. Whether I’m working on a brand identity or laying out something that just needs to look and feel right, I’m always chasing that moment when everything clicks. That same feeling is kind of what drew me to enter this contest. You know that gut feeling when something just seems meant for you? That’s exactly what this was.
Outside of work, my husband and I are pretty simple people. We love our little corner of New Brunswick, our community, and finding joy in the everyday stuff. Irishtown might not be on everyone’s radar, but it’s home, and I’m proud of that.
I’d be so grateful for the chance to win, and I promise I wouldn’t take it for granted. Thanks so much for even considering me — it genuinely means a lot!
Hey! So, I’m Morgan Farris, and I’m coming to you from the small but mighty community of Irishtown, NB. Life out here is pretty wonderful — I get to do work I genuinely love as a graphic designer, coming home to my husband at the end of the day feeling creatively fulfilled and grateful.
There’s something about living in a smaller community that makes you really appreciate the things that bring people together, and honestly, that’s a big part of why I wanted to enter this contest. Around here, opportunities like this don’t come around every day, and when they do, you jump at them with both hands.
Design has taught me to notice beauty in unexpected places and to tell stories visually, but sometimes words are the right tool for the job. This felt like one of those moments where I just needed to show up, be honest, and share a little piece of my world with whoever might be reading this.
Irishtown is home, my husband is my person, and creativity is my heartbeat. I’d be so thrilled to win, and I promise I’d make the most of it. Thanks so much for the chance — fingers crossed!
Hey! So I figured I’d throw my name in the ring for this because honestly, why not? I’m Morgan Farris, a graphic designer living in the little community of Irishtown, NB with my husband, and life out here is pretty great but also pretty quiet, which means when something exciting comes along, you jump on it.
I spend most of my days buried in design work, which I absolutely love, but it also means I’m usually the one making things look good for other people rather than doing something fun for myself. So entering this felt like a good excuse to step outside of that for a minute and just go for it.
Irishtown is one of those places where everybody knows everybody, and I think that small-town mindset has really shaped who I am. I’m grateful, I don’t take things for granted, and I genuinely get excited about opportunities that come my way. My husband would probably tell you I’ve been talking about this contest way too much already, which is probably a sign that I really want it!
Anyway, I appreciate you even reading this far. Fingers crossed, and thanks so much for the chance!
