SWEETIES PICK! Comedy Central Thanxgiveaway Wiikend Sweepstakes

Thanks to Marc for reminding me at the @ComedyCentral Thanxgiving Wiikend coming up tomorrow. It’s a great time to win prizes hourly. They did it last year and it was crazy and fun all at the same time. The rules aren’t live yet but I will update my post once they are. Take a break from all that family togetherness and tune in to@ComedyCentral this Thanksgiving. Watch all weekend long, Thursday, 11/25 through Sunday, 11/28 from 11 a.m. to 11 p.m. each day for new codes, every hour. Just visit www.comedycentral.com/thanx and enter the code for a chance to win Wii systems and other Nintendo loot, Comedy Central Prize Packs and cash that’ll easily make the rest of your holiday season a lot more fun

Eligibility: open to legal residents of the 50 United States and the District of Columbia, who are 18 years of age or older at time of entry.

Entry Dates: November 25, 2010 through November 28, 2010.

The entry period for any given Code begins at the time the Code is announced (within the first 15 minutes of the hour) and ends and at the end of that hour.

How to Enter: Each day during the 2010 Thanksgiving holiday weekend, November 25-28, 2010 , code words or phrases will be displayed on the Comedy Central cable television network between 11:00 AM Eastern Time and 10:59 PM ET, which entrants may use to enter the “Thanxgiveaway Wiikend” Sweepstakes. There will be a new Code displayed every hour and you may enter online or via text message one time per hour for a total of 12 entries per person per day. The entry period for any given Code begins at the time the Code is announced (within the first 15 minutes of the hour) and ends and at beginning of the following hour. There will be a total of 48 entry periods, one for each Code.

Although you must submit a Code with your entry, according to rules the Code does not have to be correct in order to receive a Sweepstakes entry. However, it appears that if you are texting and you put in the wrong code word you get a message back that it doesn’t understand your message.

My opinion? Enter the correct code even online just to be sure. Better safe than sorry I say!
