Eligibility: The Giveaway is open only to legal residents of the forty-eight (48) continental United States and District of Columbia (U.S.) who are at least eighteen (18) years of age and who have a working mobile phone and mobile service plan from a participating carrier as of 12/10/09.
They do not mention what carrier is participating. I use Verizon and it worked fine.
Entry Dates: The Giveaway begins at 12:00:01 AM Eastern Time on 12/10/09 and ends at 11:59:59 PM ET on 1/31/2010.
How to Enter: enter either via Online or Mobile Web or via SMS text message. Not all wireless carriers participate.
Online: visit www.westernunionyesbox.com or m.westernunionyesbox.com or www.westernunionyesbox.com from an internet-enabled mobile device. Click on a box to begin. Then fill in your name and mobile phone number to receive a code.
I used code 8653. You can try it to see if it works. I do not know if each code is unique.
To Receive a Yes! Box Open Code without sending a text message, Entrant may visit www.westernunionyesbox.com/open, click on the “Need A Code” link provided and follow the onscreen instructions. An Open Code will be provided. Online entrants must have a valid email address.
By Texting: An Entrant who completes this method of entry will receive one (1) Entry into the Grand Prize drawing AND one (1) Play for a chance to win an Instant-Win Prize. To participate by Text Message, an Entrant must text 50FOR5 to shortcode 42100. Upon receipt of your welcome message on your mobile phone, you will be entered into the Sweepstakes and will be prompted with instructions on how to review and accept these Official Rules and play the Instant Win Game. I just played this. Very disappointed. I got a winning screen saying Congratulations you've won an IPOD Touch! and my boyfriend and I got SO excited…5 seconds later before I could get a screenshot, it switched to "Sorry, you didn't win today" What is up with that?! No winning email either.
