Visa Prepaid Tax Sweepstakes

Starting on January 15th, you can enter to win 1 of 900 cash prizes just by using your Visa card to make a purchase or sending your entry in the mail.

Eligibility: open only to legal residents of the fifty (50) United States and the District of Columbia, 18 years of age or older as of 1/15/12 and who are physically located and reside in the United States or the District of Columbia. Commercial card eligibility is subject to employer policies regarding sweepstakes participation. Void in Puerto Rico and where prohibited.

Entry Dates: begins on 1/15/12 and ends 11:59:59 PM PT on 4/30/12.

How to Enter: two ways

Automatic Entry: Consumers will automatically receive one entry into a Weekly Drawing for each purchase they make with their eligible Visa Prepaid card or Visa Payroll card. The date and time of an eligible purchase will determine the Weekly Drawing. The following Visa Prepaid cards are excluded from entry into the Sweepstakes: Visa Buxx, Visa Gift cards, Visa Healthcare cards, Visa Incentive cards, and Visa TravelMoney. Purchases of goods and services must be at a participating merchant location in the United States.

U.S. Mail: To enter without purchase or obligation by U.S. Mail: You may enter the Sweepstakes without a Visa Prepaid card or Visa Payroll card, or purchase via U.S. Mail by hand-printing your name, address, city, state, ZIP code, and daytime and evening telephone numbers (including area code) on a 3″ x 5″ card, and mailing, in a #10 envelope with postage affixed, to:

Each mail-in entry will count as one (1) entry in a random drawing. Mail-in entries must be postmarked and received by dates stated in rule 5 below in order to be eligible for that respective Weekly Drawing. Enter as often as you wish; however, each mail-in entry must be mailed in a separate postmarked-and-stamped envelope.

Drawing Date: Sixty (60) potential winners will be selected each Weekly Drawing in a weekly random drawing from among all eligible automatic and mail-in entries received on dates/times. Allow 6-8 weeks from the drawing date stated below for delivery of prize.

Prize Limit: one (1) prize per person/household per Weekly Drawing. All claimed prizes will be awarded.

Sixty (60) Weekly Prizes awarded over 15 weeks for a total of nine hundred (900) prizes: $25 to be loaded onto winner’s Visa Prepaid card or Visa Payroll card.  If a winner entered by mail, he/she will receive a check in the amount of $25.

Estimated odds of winning a Weekly Prize are 1:149,604; however, the actual odds of winning a prize will depend upon the total number of eligible automatic and mail-in entries received for each respective week during the Promotion Period.
