Spring is here in Connecticut and I am so thrilled because being cooped up in the house for 6 long months is enough to drive a person crazy. I need light and air and flowers and sun! What I don’t need is dust and dirt so that means it’s time for Spring Cleaning.
Spring means it’s time for me to open the windows and watch the cat hair fly around the house. Yep, those darn long hair cars of mine are growing their own cats I think and I find myself chasing rolling cat balls down the hallway.
That’s Kitter – she’s not as innocent as she looks and is cause of some of the hair balls in this house.
P&G sent me some Spring products to try out and my favorite has to be the new Swiffer Duster Extender with the head that bends and handle that expands. Now I can clean the cat hair off the fan in the kitchen – yes, there’s even cat hair up there. I am loving this thing and will be using it a lot.
The handle expands so you can adjust it to be a long handle or a short handle. With the long handle I can reach all of the way up to the ceiling and on top of the fan blades.
Another thing they sent me was Cascade Complete Packs for the dishwasher. I’ve been wanting to try these and now that I have I think I am hooked. They are these little packettes that you put in your dishwasher instead of measuring out soap. No mess and they smell fresh. Another winner
The last thing in my box was Vicks Nature Fusion for coughs but since I haven’t been sick I will store that away until I need it.

I TRY to ignore the house and spend time outside.
I start clean from the attic and all way down to the basemate.
Hmm, I’m sorry if this is a duplicate. I can’t find my post. I go ice fishing one last time. Than I put away the winter toys and get out the summer ones.
I go to Wal-Mart and buy planters and cucumber seeds. Each summer my dad would plant and grow cucumbers for me, but now that hes gone, I do it in his memory.

I deleted your other entry. Good luck
When it starts to get warm, a room gets painted and then gets cleaned from the top to bottom.
I start outside. I love to work in the yard and plant flowers.
Once it starts getting warm out I clean the whole house inside and out. I make sure everything is sanitized and dusted!
It is always warm in Florida. We have two kinds of weather – hot and hotter. In the spring, my family likes to clean up the clutter in the house and donate items we cannot use or sell.
I just bought my first house and need to paint the outside and get some seeds planted. Lettuce, tomato & cucumber, oh my!
I start from the top and go down. 2nd floor, then 1st floor, then the dreaded man cave. I have a ton of outdoor projects that I procrastinated on the last few years that MUST get done like painting the front porch railing and staining the fence in the back. Just typing this gives me anxiety!
I take out the patio furnature and start cleaning the entire house, clean out the fridge, windows, curtians change and wash the type of sheets on the bed.
Open the windows and air out the winter funk
I like to start throwing things out..the warm weather makes to want to strip away all of the clutter.
Thanks!
I can`t wait to plant my garden.
I wash all the curtains!!
BBQ, Crawl-fish boils, Lots of outside fun for the family and lots of memories made :). It is my son’s first summer so I am definitely excited for the fun to start!
clean it all from windows to closets
Windows get washed – inside and out. We declutter and donate. Closets and cabinets get organized. I love the way the whole house looks after spring cleaning. (I would love to win maid service, too, so my house could stay clean even when I’m neglecting it to spend quality time with my kids!) 🙂
I spend the weekends with the windows open to let out the stale air. I suffer with hay fever but the fresh air in the house is so nice!
Spring means it is time to start planing hundreds of flowers. I can’t wait.
I can’t wait to get swimming!
I can’t wait to get outside and play with my grandchildren!
Deep Sea fishing!!!!!!!!!!
First sign of spring means cleaning out the garden beds so the new growth is free to flourish.
Pack up my winter clothes and put them in the attic.
