Spring is here in Connecticut and I am so thrilled because being cooped up in the house for 6 long months is enough to drive a person crazy. I need light and air and flowers and sun! What I don’t need is dust and dirt so that means it’s time for Spring Cleaning.
Spring means it’s time for me to open the windows and watch the cat hair fly around the house. Yep, those darn long hair cars of mine are growing their own cats I think and I find myself chasing rolling cat balls down the hallway.
That’s Kitter – she’s not as innocent as she looks and is cause of some of the hair balls in this house.
P&G sent me some Spring products to try out and my favorite has to be the new Swiffer Duster Extender with the head that bends and handle that expands. Now I can clean the cat hair off the fan in the kitchen – yes, there’s even cat hair up there. I am loving this thing and will be using it a lot.
The handle expands so you can adjust it to be a long handle or a short handle. With the long handle I can reach all of the way up to the ceiling and on top of the fan blades.
Another thing they sent me was Cascade Complete Packs for the dishwasher. I’ve been wanting to try these and now that I have I think I am hooked. They are these little packettes that you put in your dishwasher instead of measuring out soap. No mess and they smell fresh. Another winner
The last thing in my box was Vicks Nature Fusion for coughs but since I haven’t been sick I will store that away until I need it.

open the windows and doors, just let the breeze in to the house….by the way, love those swiffer, they work really well!
DE-CLUTTER! Out with the old in with the new!
Put on my “cleaning clothes”, turn on the music, open the windows and start from the attic all the way down and out to the porch.
I try try try to plant, but each year I am a dismal failure.
The first thing I do is get outside when it starts to get nice and work on the lawn/landscaping.
The first thing I do is plant lots of plants in my yard. I live in AZ and there isn’t alot of green…except in my backyard. I’m up to around 75 potted plants. I also go around and clean my windwows and vacume my window cills. That’s just for starters. I’m a cleaning fanatic and have been wathing to try out the new swiffer extender.
Adorable kitty BTW. I have always been partial to the tuxedo kitties.
Spring cleaning and consignment sales around here.
The first thing I do is purchase new flowers! I usually purchase these too early for putting them out in the garden; so I keep them indoors for a bit, then take them outside to the patio and decide exactly where to put them.
The first thing I do when spring comes is open all the windows and let the house air out!!! It is wonderful and fresh!
The first thing I do when spring comes is to get my lawn and garden in shape. I put down grass seed, trim my roses and have my bushes trimmed and reshaped.
the first thing I do when spring arrives is clean out my flower beds.
The first thing I do is open it all up to get the musty winter smell out and then try to clean up the yard
Clean the BBQ and trim the fruit trees.

I start working outside planting and weeding.
I start at the top of my cubboards where all the dust has sat all winter and work my way down.the windows take the longest so I have a day of that then the decluttering starts its a long process but when its all done It’s like I am more relaxed and ready for the dog days of summer
Planting signals spring for me!
I spray the yucky yellow pollen of my house and prch with a strong stream of water and also wash the windoes whilr I am at it.
We put in some annual flowers to add some more color outside.
The thing I do is clean the ceiling fans. It was hot enough last week to use them and then this week the furnace is on. Then I start by cleaning a room a week.
