Spring is here in Connecticut and I am so thrilled because being cooped up in the house for 6 long months is enough to drive a person crazy. I need light and air and flowers and sun! What I don’t need is dust and dirt so that means it’s time for Spring Cleaning.
Spring means it’s time for me to open the windows and watch the cat hair fly around the house. Yep, those darn long hair cars of mine are growing their own cats I think and I find myself chasing rolling cat balls down the hallway.
That’s Kitter – she’s not as innocent as she looks and is cause of some of the hair balls in this house.
P&G sent me some Spring products to try out and my favorite has to be the new Swiffer Duster Extender with the head that bends and handle that expands. Now I can clean the cat hair off the fan in the kitchen – yes, there’s even cat hair up there. I am loving this thing and will be using it a lot.
The handle expands so you can adjust it to be a long handle or a short handle. With the long handle I can reach all of the way up to the ceiling and on top of the fan blades.
Another thing they sent me was Cascade Complete Packs for the dishwasher. I’ve been wanting to try these and now that I have I think I am hooked. They are these little packettes that you put in your dishwasher instead of measuring out soap. No mess and they smell fresh. Another winner
The last thing in my box was Vicks Nature Fusion for coughs but since I haven’t been sick I will store that away until I need it.

Start getting all the lawn items and yard items put out and cleaning them and readying the yard for spring and summer.
I clean everything, even empty out all the kitchen cupboards and clean those.
I start planting some flowers.
I do plant seeds, but always try to find a couple of already flowering plants to put in plain view of my windows. For me, it is a true reminder that spring is here, and it is time to change the season of the inside of my home:)
Clean all of those filthy windows.
Become a super duster. I don’t do a very good job all Winter..but come Spring the dust must leave.
I love to plant my garden and watch it grow. I try to get the nooks and crannies in the house clean up too.

when it starts getting warmer i like to go thru the family closets and pack up winter clothing, find items to donate, and last but not least break out the summer clothes! my daughter is really starting to love doing this with me which helps alot!! we also like to go room by room and clean it from top to bottom..takes a few days but well worth it!
I start top to bottom and while I do it I am collecting stuff for my garage sale and stuff for donations to the local crisis nursery
I start my tomatoes and yes, I clean house top to bottom! I might be weird because I kinda like Spring cleaning…lol

Send my husband and our baby our for the day and go from room to room armed with a sponge, cleaning supplies, vacuum, and a trash bag.
Living in Florida we are lucky or maybe not so lucky to have the opportunity to be constantly cleaning. The one thing I do when our weather gets too warm to open the windows is to take down the screening, dust and clean my windows so I have a clean view of the outdoors.
I want to deep clean my basement and dust all my cabinets!
Clean all my windows.
The first thing I do is open all the windows and I vacuum. My house has been on the market for a long time, so it is always in showing condition. However, I do like to put flowers on my porch.
I take the weatherproofing off the windows, open them for a whole day, vacuum every corner, and dust from top to bottom! I hate the stale air after a winter of being cooped up.
I steam clean my carpets
I take the outside toys out of storage
My garden is always top priority; living in California, I always start my seedlings before the warm weather begins, then I am ready to go straight to planting and nurturing.
When it starts to get warmer I try to clean the deck
