Lots of sunscreen
I get “outdoor ready” by applying thick layers of sunscreen and/or insect repellant. 😉
Cleaning everything and packing ..sometimes more work than work!!
We make sure to have plenty of off because I am a mosquito magnet. We get our tents and sleeping bags ready by airing them out and making sure no spiders are nesting in them. We also make sure the flashlights are working,pack extra batteries and bring plenty of sunscreen!
The first things on the list are bug spray and s’mores!
I get ready by applying sunscreen then go out clean the back yard up then lite the BQ up and call it a day…
Camping is my hubby’s favorite hobby. In fact we just got back from camping today so I know we are outdoor ready! We get outdoor ready by getting everything organized and making sure we have sunblock and bug spray for the kids! And my hubby always gets new camping gear for Christmas!
I make sure hubby has everything packed nicely and make sure we have all the things for setting up a tent (cause he usually misplaces them throughout the year).
We clean out the camper which we are lucky enough to already have pots and pans and sleeping bags in, add the food and clothes and we’re ready to go.

We stay ready by keeping all our camping equipment in the RV. All I have to do is make a run to the store to stock up on groceries, and we are ready!
I make sure I pack the bug spray, and remember my pillow..
I already bought a tent and sunshade from Kmart. I would love to add a new lantern to my camping gear to take on a trip in Aug to watch the Perseids meteor shower.
That would be a great gift for my brother and his two sons.
I get outdoor ready by making lots of list of things I need (tent, sleeping bags, bug repellant,etc)…This helps me not to forget something.
I get the A/C tuned up and renew my contract with the lawn service. The outdoors looks much better through my patio door that way.

We get outdoor ready by getting dusting off our patio set, grabbing the bug spray- and this year pulling out the baby pool 🙂
We drag the lawn chairs, beach towels and cooler full of iced beverages down to the waters edge, and watch evening sunsets. The light would come in handy to help us follow the path back in the dark.

I get ready for outdoor by stocking up on all the summer fun items for the kids… sidewalk chalk, bubbles, the pool, the slip n slide and more 🙂
We are lucky to have family with some land so when we camp there is a house close by just in case.
I get outdoor ready by setting up the tiki lights so the bugs stay away.
Also use plenty of sunscreen during the day.
