My husband is the BEST! We have two little girls and a third girl on the way. He took all three of us out to dinner and had a solo guitarist serenade my daughters, and then me! So sweet! He said he wanted to make sure the girls see how he treats me well, so they will pick guys who treat them the same one day!
Hey Sweetie :)! My boyfriend and I don’t go to the extremes of celebrating Valentine’s Day (since we believe every day should be the same) but he was very cute this year and bought 3 balloons (we’ve been together for 3 years), chocolate 🙂 and two cards – one was very glittery and had two penguins on it – very cute and really pretty.
Thank you for the giveaway :)!
My hubby took me ice-skating & out to dinner.
My guy chased down someone who had just bought the last bouquet from the store and convinced them to give a rose to him just so he could give it to me.
I got flowers at work with a lovely card. Hes the best
my husband took rented us jacuzzi suite and took me to the casino we had lobster and filet mingon for dinner very romatic night
My hubby surprised me on Valentine’s Day with a santoku knife…which he made just for me! You might not think that’s terribly romantic, until you hear the rest of the story! He carved the handle of the knife from Koa wood…that he brought back from our trip to Hawaii last month. It was a combination Valentine’s Day-“Thanks for winning an awesome vacation” gift! I was very touched that he would go to all that trouble!

My husband took our 4 boys out to shop for me – ages 7, 6, 3, and 1. They came home with a cake (that the older boys decorated) and some chocolates the kids selected. My favorite was a chocolate fish in a package that read, “You’re a keeper,” given to me by my 6-year-old. My husband got me a convection oven. I know it sounds unromantic, but it’s really what I wanted. 🙂
I wanted to take my girlfriend out for dinner this valentine but she had to work and it was same day as Chinese new year. So i sent flowers to her work place i spent like $70 (ftd.com) shoulda read the review before buying from there. The flowers sent was nothing like i ordered. I ordered Pink & Red Roses but the flowers sent was substituted with some pink and light pink carnations. No pink roses.
My Hubby & I went to a horror movie, it may not sound romantic, but we love to be scared (and it’s guaranteed to be kid free!)
Okay, here is my story. My husband has been going over to his friends house every night after work…for 3 weeks now. He would get home just in time to shower and go to bed. This was very out of character for him, and to be truthful, I thought that after 16 years of marriage, he was maybe finding someone more interesting. So, for Valentines’ Day, I was really not expecting anything…he presented me with a huge Brett Favre Poster that he had made a custome frame for!! It was beautiful..and he is definitely NOT a handyman. He told me that his friend was helping/guiding him on what to do. I was in tears! No affair..and he really did love me…and knew how much I loved Brett Favre! I have myself a keeper here.:)
My hubby and I don’t really go all out for Valentine’s Day. Its his best friends birthday and we have gone out to Mellow Mushroom for pizza the past 3 or so years so that is our tradition. Last Thursday, he surprised me with a black and white diamond ring. It was such a surprise! He is truly the best!
My husband took the kids and myself to Chuck E Cheese and watched the kids so I could sit and read the paper and relax while they played.
My husband cleaned the house for me on Valentine’s Day.

My husband was out of the country, but still managed to send chocolates and flowers for Valentine’s Day.
I received roses and a lovely card along with a steak and lobster dinner which my hubby cooked for me.
Hi Wendy, My ever romantic Sweetheart, my Husband, gave me a dozen red roses, chocolate, bath beads and a stuffed teddy bear for Valentine’s Day. I am very lucky to have such a great husband!
My significant other offered me his shoes when the heel of mine broke. It was raining so he walked around barefoot.
My husband got me a sweet card-one from him and one from our 2 year old daughter. We had a nice dinner and a great weekend.
My husband cooked dinner and did the dishes. I really appreciated that.
Before we had our son, my husband stayed up all night and made me a homemade chocolate cake, and a handmade card! He also bought me my favorite flowers! 1 dozen yellow roses!
Why should Valentine’s Day be so extra special? My husband makes me feel special every day. I am treated with respect, our children have a wonderful
dad who works full time and loves to cook……I especially enjoy the
cards that he gets me every Valentine’s Day! He always makes little pictures
and signs the card very uniquely. Many thanks, Cindi
My husband got laid off in Jan so I had low expectations this year. But my husband really impressed me! We made each other old school cards and his was so sweet…he even wrote in one of our inside jokes. He also used a freebie trick and got me the most beautiful flowers free! 😀 It was so sweet to know he put so much thought into it and that he actually has learned something from my thriftyness! *grin*
Nadine.
