Do you have a favorite Disney character? I have several and I find new ones all of the time. Believe it or not, my mother was watching Peter Pan on TV with Mary Martin the night I was born and she named me Wendy after the Wendy character in the Peter Pan story. Yes, that was back in the day before color TV. There have been many versions of Peter Pan since then and Disney has made it into a cartoon but that original version always stuck with me.
Some of the newer characters and movies are now my favorites. I love, love, love the Pirates of the Caribbean series and Tangled is also a new favorite. My son recently saw the Avengers and he said that was very good. You don’t have to be a kid to like Disney characters and there are so many, usually you find one that connects with you in some way.
I don’t think we ever really grow up and Disney is one of those things that brings out the kid in all of us. I guess sometimes it’s not that we want to be a kid but we like to keep the dreams alive that we had when we were children and Disney evokes those memories and thoughts. We want to believe that there is a happy ending and that magical lands exist.
Did you know that Disney has an official Fan Club?

Stitch because he is just always himself: crazy, hyper, and silly 🙂
I am the biggest Disney fan ever!
Alice! I always loved the cartoon as a kid, danced in a production of it in middle school (as both a Tweedle and the Gryphon), and have numerous video/dvd versions, plus many book editions. I love the original Disney cartoon AND the Johnny Depp version. They both are ‘go to’ movies to put in when I can’t find anything on tv. I look around my office now and have a weird clock, a large paper clip, various odd animals and flowers and I feel as though I’m in Wonderland sometimes!
Mickey is the best and will always be classic!
Tink!
I’ve always had a thing for Cinderella and still do.
I love Mickey, always have always will.
My favorite Disney character is Mickey because “it was all started by a mouse!”
Tinkerbell.
I love bambi she is just so sweet and cute. I have watched bambi at least 100 times it never gets old.
My Favorite is Minnie Mouse! I loved her as a kid and now that my daughter loves her, she’s special to us! We love Minnie!
I love Rapunzel- she’s not your typical princess and I love the movie!
My favorite is Mary Poppins! When I was a child, my mom used to sing a lot of the songs from that movie, so I know them by heart, and Mary Poppins was the ultimate mom example, tough, but loving!
my favorite is mickey still. it makes me feel all awesome to see the way he delights my children throughout their ages!
Goofy, because he doesn’t take life so seriously!
Goofy – because he knows how to enjoy life!
Mickey, because it all started with a mouse. where would disney be without him.
Tinker Bell. She has always been my favorite, I can remember being little and clapping for her to come back!!!
Goofy I remember as a small child meeting him and it was magical 🙂
Cinderella is my favorite. She is a strong woman who motivated me as a child and today to always go after what you truly want!
Goofy is top of the list. He’s loyal, funny, and knows that every mistake is not the end of the world.
My favorite is Ariel. As a Mom, this was the first movie that came out when my daughter was young. My daughter was in love with The Little Mermaid and at two years old she knew every word and acted out the whole movie. That began our love with Walt Disney and we watched the company grow for the next twenty yrs. Also, we loved taking her and our other daughters to Disney World. We’ve been to WDW sixteen times, Disneyland twice and Disneyland Paris once.
id i have to say goofey as a 25 y/o i can still watch a goofy movie over & over & over and laugh at the same stuff like ive never seen it before.
Tigger, I’ve loved Tigger since I was a child and I’m still in love with the tiger that bounces!
Rapunzel- She is super cute and reminds me of my little sister.
Oh, I hate to choose! But I would say Donald Duck, because he keeps it real and his friends still love him anyway, even when he’s cranky.
