Create a virtual road trip and invite up to 16 of your friends to come along for the ride for a chance to win a $5,000 Sonic gift card for yourself and $100 Sonic gift cards to give to your friends.

Eligibility: open only to legal residents of the Continental United States and the District of Columbia, who are 18 years of age or older at the time of entry.

How to Enter: two ways

Create a “Virtual Road Trip” that will allow you to map a trip across the Continental United States. In order to create a Road Trip; you must select at least five, but no more than sixteen (16) Facebook friends to visit during your Road Trip; you may only select one (1) Facebook friend per city. As you approach each friend, you will be sent an email that will give you twenty-four (24) hours from when it is sent for you to respond to complete this portion of the Road Trip. If you do not respond within twenty-four (24) hours, then your Road Trip will automatically continue on course. During the course of your Road Trip, you will travel at the posted highway speed limit and will experience various road hazards along the route that you must successfully navigate in order to keep moving along your Road Trip. Upon successfully completing your Road Trip, you will be asked if you want to register for a chance to enter the Random Drawing Sweepstakes.

There is no limit as to the number of Road Trips you may enter as long as each Road Trip is unique and does not use the same group of friends.

Enter by Mail: To enter the Sweepstakes without completing a Road Trip, hand print your name, email address, mailing address, daytime and evening phone telephone numbers, and date of birth and the first names and cities/states of five (5) to sixteen (16) friends on a 3″ x 5″ card or piece of paper and mail in a first-class stamped envelope to:

All mail entries must be postmarked by August 13, 2012 and received no later than August 20, 2012 to be eligible for the Sweepstakes. Limit one (1) entry per envelope.

Entry Limit: one entry per person/address/e-mail address/Facebook account per day regardless of entry method.

One Grand Prize: Grand Prize winner will receive a $5,000 cash prize awarded in the form of a check or wire transfer and a $350 My SONIC Card. ARV: $5,350.00.
