It seems they are doing this with tickets from people who do not want them. The past 2 times i have gone to Rite Aid they have given me extra tickets from all the people who didn't want them. I really had doubts about this promotion from the start, but them selling them just puts the icing on the cake.

At least at your store they're giving the extras to paying customers. At mine they don't even want to give me one's I purchased items to get!
Does anyone have game piece 1? I got the 6 today and was wondering if anyone would like to either buy that piece from me or sell me their 1 piece. Email me at [email protected].
I am DONE with this game. I went to Rite Aid tonight. I go to a store that's open till midnight and I went around 11:45 so I was the only customer in the store. When I got to the register I saw that the 3 employees working were there with stacks of tickets opening them all and taking the instant wins and the pieces they needed!!! What a scam!
Please call 1-800-RITEAID (1-800-748-3243) or send them email from http://www.riteaid.com/contact_us/contact_customer_service.jsf and tell them about what you saw. There are video tapes and these jerks should be fired. I got a phone call back after I complained about a much simpler matter than this!
Interesting, rare marker 06 is $60 on eBay. The purchaser will still need to locate 01 to get the $250,000. I've got the rare 14. Anyone have 15 to complete the 25,000?
Just got an email from customer service. I sent in over 40 requests since the game began and they haven't sent me any back. Since there are "strict guidelines", they can't send me my 40 requests only one a day. She also had the nerve to say I can get more tickets from purchases at Rite Aid.
I will no longer shop at Rite Aid. This is outrageous and the customer service people are a joke.
Shouldn't give RITE AID anymore money!
I'm appalled. I've e-mailed them as Sweetie suggested, so hopefully they'll start cracking down on some of the bad employees!
The one request a day is a joke. I sent in one a day for about 2 weeks. Know what I've gotten back? One game piece. They're not even honoring requests that follow the guidelines and as far as I'm concerned that's a total scam. I will never shop at Rite Aid again.
Any winners yet? I've checked a bunch of sweepstakes sites and so far I've only read about 1 winner. Seems really strange for a game that is supposedly giving away so many prizes.
I'm willing to give away marker number 6 if someone will give me marker number 1. Additionally, I'm willing to pay $1,000 for maker number 1. Anybody??
Does your offer still stand?

No winners yet? If Rite Aid is smart, they will wait until near the end to ship the missing game pieces. That way everyone keeps buying and hoping for a big prize. Do all your game pieces say Series RIT-01 on the front? I would get excited if I started seeing a different series number. -Steve
RIT-01 refers to the customer game, if you get a RIT-02 piece, it’ll be completely useless
Employees DO NOT play the same game as customers, they DO NOT use the same tickets, and if you are having issues at the store with not getting tickets you are due, talk to the Store Manager first, odds are they will accommodate you.
It doesn't matter if employees are using the same tickets or playing the same game. They are still stealing the tickets to sell and give to their friends. Lots of unopened tickets are selling on ebay for up to $100. No one but employees would have 100's of tickets to sell.
Now I'm being told there is a certain number of purchases allowed in an hour. If I want my tickets, I would have to mail in requests.
Sorry, not if I want my tickets…if I want more tickets:)
I'm starting to get some of my SASE's back. So far, I have received 10. I won a pinnacle 4×6 silver with black frame today (instant win on game ticket). Before this, I have only won extra tickets. No big wins yet.
wow thats crazy I can't believe they are cheating like that. I've definitley lost faith in Rite Aid and its sweeps, I'm tossing my game boards!

Game of Life Tickets: I am thinking about offering to buy large quantities of UnOpened game tickets in new condition (no water damage, no creases, etc.) from others that have accumulated legitimately and wish to get rid of. I am not interested in buying from Rite Aid employees who may have aquired illegitimately. I am trying to gauge the interest out there. If you would prefer to respond privately then post a general comment asking for my email address.

An update…I sent in 7 requests for the game pieces…5 in one mailing and 2 in another. I didn't know about the 1 a day rule until it was too late. I sent the SASE's right when the game started at the beginning of January…and I finally received the last 2 pieces today! It took a while, but I did finally get all of them. No wins yet, though – other than more game pieces!
I sent in 45 requests and only got back 10. Its good that some were sent, but to not send the rest because of their rule is wrong.
All,
I went to Rite Aid this morning to make some purchases and when the clerk asked me if I was playing the game, I said "yes". The clerk pulled out a basket full of tickets and proceeded to count double the amount that my register tape had indicated. When I asked why, the clerk said that Corporate had visited their store yesterday and instructed the clerks to double up on all tickets given out going forward. I suspect Rite Aid may have more tickets left to give out than time left to play so they need all tickets to be distributed to flush out all of the winners. Make sure your store doubles up going forward. By the way I live in Rhode Island.

I’ve never liked Rite-Aid but I live right near one so it’s pretty convenient. Many of their items are past the pull date. Not to mention being pretty high priced. Well anyway, I got into playing this Game of Life crap. I find however that now when I go into a Rite-Aid I have to ask the clerks for my game pieces. The other day I was in a hurry and the clerk didn’t give me ANY. And then just tonight I made some purchases AND I bought some gum that would have given me an extra ticket. I should have played closer attention because, yeah, you guessed it, the clerk only gave me one ticket. And I’m sure as hell not gonna get in my car and go back and ask for another one….
In the beginning I was getting quite a few of the correct pieces, now I’m not getting ANY. I have a ton of tickets that I don’t need.
I don’t know if the whole thing is a sham but it does make me wonder…..
Thanks for the info, Patrick! Headed to my local RA now and hope for the same. We have GREAT employees at our RA (northern Michigan) that have been disgusted at what has been going on at other stores. Really hope I see some winners on here soon!
I did won Axe Deodorant.Hubby will be happy
