How to Enter: Create an original artwork that is either a (a) drawing, (b) painting, (c) sculpture, or (d) mixed media piece, take a photo of your Project, and submit your Project photo via Pixlee at michaels.com/artcontest and canada.michaels.com/en/artcontest.
The Project must be entirely original and created by Entrant. The Project must not have been submitted previously in any promotion of any kind, or publicly exhibited or displayed previously through any means.
Judging Criteria: Interpretation and Clarity of the Entrant’s selected theme to the viewer (25%), Creativity and Originality of the theme (25%), Quality of Artistic Composition (25%) and Overall Impression (25%).

still wondering what is happening, can we not see the Pictures people have entered and when are the winners going to be announced?
It said something on the rules page about them not judging pictures until the week of September 19th. So hopefully by next week we will know who won.

Have been waiting for the winners of the August 24, 2021 contest. Was there really a contest or just getting people to buy supplies from Michaels? You need to let all who entered know the the results. I prefer Michaels to Hobby Lobby.
We entered too. Haven’t heard a thing. Was this a scam? Just to gather info and/or attract people to buy from Michaels? You would think that Michaels would at least give a list of the winners AND send emails to inform all those who entered that the contest is over. Waste of time.
If something is not forthcoming soon from Michael’s Store management re: art contest, I will have all my art work framing, all my acrylic art supplies including canvases done by Hobby Lobby. I suggest other entries do the same.
