How to Participate in the Contest: To be eligible to participate in the contest, you must reside in Miami, Florida, and specific Locations can be found Here. You will need to submit a written statement nominating a referee from a sport the Participant currently plays and explaining why the Participant would like to send an experiential delivery prize to the Referee. The Nomination must comply with the Nomination Submission Guidelines. Content: Nominations must nominate a referee who officiates a sport that the Participant currently plays. Nominations for referees who do not referee the Participant will be disqualified. Length: Nominations must be 300 words or less in length. Nominations exceeding this limit will be disqualified. Original Content: Nominations must be 100% original and created by the Participant.
Participants who submit a Contest entry will also be automatically entered into the Sweepstakes.
Judging Criteria:
- Grammar and Syntax 25% (judges will evaluate the correctness and clarity of language, with a perfect score awarded to entries free of errors. Minor grammatical issues may result in a slight deduction, while frequent or severe errors that affect readability will receive lower scores)
- Sentence Craft 25% (assesses sentence structure, coherence, and overall engagement, with the highest scores awarded to entries that are well-written and compelling)
- Brand Safety 25% (evaluates alignment with Lysol’s brand image and messaging, with entries that fully comply receiving the highest scores, while those containing inappropriate, controversial, or non-compliant content will receive deductions)
- Adherence to Nomination Submission Guidelines 25% (ensures compliance with all contest requirements, with entries that fully meet the stated guidelines receiving the highest scores, and entries that significantly deviate from the rules receiving lower scores)
The Contest Prize is comprised of twenty five (25) Lysol-branded tote bags, twenty five (25) bottles of Lysol Laundry Sanitizer, and one (1) gift delivery experience featuring a surprise special guest to be delivered to the winning Participant’s Nominee. ARV of the Contest Prize: $25.
