Hi, my daughter came home battered, she has 3 children, they r living with me in a 1 room, 11×11 size room, a bunk bed and blow up mattress, this is something that would be fantastic for her and her children. It would be so appreciated and so really needed. Thank u Natalie
I have a grandson that is handicapped and will be 21 this year. It would be great to put him in a tiny home in the backyard so that he can learn to be independent and still be close to family. I believe a tiny home would be beneficial to him and his disabilities. His disabilities is in his hands. Very smart kid and will figure out most anything he can do. I believe this independence would really help him a lot.
Hi. I’m 57 years old. I see so many people who have spent years of trying times in there lives. I’m no different, but choose to be a survivor. Maybe these young people deserve it more than me. I’ve been blessed after all the struggles in my life to have raised three boys who are now beautiful young men.
See the above comments.
Like I said their are many people in this world that struggle. I’m on disability as well, but never want to discuss it or use it as any kind of crutch. That gentleman who has a son with disabilities may very well deserve that “tiny house” so much more than me.
I would like a tiny home so I can spend my retirement years living outside with nature. I have always wanted to live closer to nature, have a garden and breathe the fresh air.
Tiny Homes have been a dream come true, to truly downsize and appreciate the smaller things in life without the unnecessary clutter..feeling free and enjoying my Golden Years..
I fell in love with tiny houses years ago. I am a 72 year old woman who’s husband had a stroke 2 years ago, a son who has epilepsy and after 2 brain surgeries is still having seizures. So I am the primary care give and funds are limited to our social security and my son’s disability income. If I were to win, I would have it set up on my brother’s property in Tennessee. It would be used as a retreat.
Everyone has amazing strength story’s…maybe they should build tiny home neighborhoods!!!
my new tiny home is a possibility. i love interior decorating.. lots of light and also yellows, blues, and greens, and grey!
I would love a tiny home, it would give my husband and I the ability to retire and live closer to our kids and grandchildren. I am 70 and my husband is 65.
A tiny home for me & my husband my children are grown nd gone except one lost her in a car accident she was 17 we are both disabled and this would be perfect Thank You
I’m almost sixty, my son and his 8year old daughter live in my house, there is not enough room for three people, so I am staying with a friend. would like to move back home but my mental health needs my own space. My son has full custody of his daughter, he does ok with his daughter but there is nothing like a grandma’s love. If I had a tiny house, I would be able to be there for mylee, she needs a female role model, it’s funny listening to them talk about getting bras but she needs her “mamie” for that comfy fuzzy feeling
First, it would be sincerely appreciated if I could win this. My mother’s and father’s birthdays are coming up, and so is their retirements. I really want to thank them for all the years that have raised me. They truly mean a lot to me. I always felt like that I owe them something for their support. They are Asians but they weren’t strict parents. In fact, they said “I love you” a lot and always supported me. I felt really close and like their best friends, so I wanted to give something back to them. Something meaningful. Something for them. Again, it would be very much appreciated if I could win this for my parents.
I’m 19 and have raised and supported myself majority of my life. I live with my sister, brother in law, and nephew in their 3 bedroom house, but they have a baby on the way. I want them to be able to use my room for a nursery. I don’t want to be the reason they don’t get to have that experience with their newborn. I have been considering different options, but I have always leaned towards a tiny home. I just can’t afford it. Winning this would be amazing! It would mean so much to me.
Hi, 40 year old, single mom of 3. Two which still live with me. I’ve always worked & supported my children on my own with having health issues. I’ve just been blessed to do what I’ve done & doing. My children joke on my obsession with wanting a tiny house. The financial freedom, simplifying chores & more family time is a lottery all of its own.
My daughter has Aspergers, a form of autism. She is capable of living on her own but with the need for so many to find low income housing now, due to the pandemic. It’s nearly impossible to find housing, especially in rural Oklahoma. Every time she sees a tiny home, she always says, if only.
Living in a tiny home has been a dream for me for 4 years. I would love to have a tiny home on a small piece of land . I love to grow my own vegetables and would have more time to do this in my own home.
