@LeeJeans and Mike Rowe of “Dirty Jobs” fame have teamed up to launch www.ShopPhobia.com, where men can learn to shop without fear or “without losing your manhood”
Take the Shop Phobie test and find out if you are NOT BAD, BAD, DIRE, or HOPELESS!
As a BONUS, once you take the challenge you will get a $5.00 coupon and free shipping to buy Lee jeans online.
To celebrate the launch of Shop Phobia, Lee Jeans wants to give FIVE Sweeties a pair of either Lee Premium Select jeans for men or Lee Slender Secret jeans for women just for sharing their most “shop phobic” moment.
Watch Mike Rowe’s video and you will realize how different men and women are when it comes to shopping. Mike is too funny.
He asks,
“Do you know what is nice about trying on jeans? He says, NOTHING, there’s nothing nice about trying on jeans.
He’s too cute!
Men often think like Mike, that they are just about naked in this tiny room with white walls, hoping that no one sees them in their tighty whiteys, while women see shopping and trying clothes on as an emotional experience. I’m not completely sure that Mike is convinced that it is indeed okay to try his Lee jeans on in a dressing room in public – gotta love him.
One thing he is sure of though is that he likes Lee jeans. They were reasonably priced for him and it made his butt look good – lol
Lee jeans are durable and stylish, a pair of jeans a regular-guy can wear. There’s nothing like a good fitting pair of jeans.
Last December I actually won a pair of Lee Slender Secret jeans from the Lees Facebook page. And, I did a review of them. I have always loved and worn Lee jeans for as long as I can remember.
The Prize:
Five winners will receive: a pair of Lee jeans – Lee Premium Select jeans for men or Lee Slender Secret jeans for women

My shop phobic moment occurs every spring when I have to try on swimsuits (ugh!).
My shop phobic moment is when I realize I need “any” piece of clothing because I am 40 this year and not real sure what “40” clothes look like
I’ve become shop phobic because I can never find my size anymore. I am small with curves. Lee jeans are one of the only companies that fit me, but in the stores my size is usually gone. I’m phobic of shopping and not having my size, or all of the clothes in my size are for children or older people.
My shop phobic moment is shopping for bras
My most shop phobic moment has to be the time when a cashier would not readily accept any of my coupons…and she was the only cashier with an open register. She had to call the manager over like 4 times for approval, and by the time I was done…there were about 10 more people in line (with full carts) giving me the “angry stare” haha
I am unusual for a female in that I don’t really like to shop.
I like pretty clothes as much as the next girl, but when I have a limited amount of money to spend, I get shopphobia that I will blow my money on something that doesn’t fit right, isn’t comfortable or falls apart after washing. stuff like that happens to me all the time.

When my friends wanted me to try on a knit sweater dress that clinged to every bump,I did and I said ‘now my humiliation is complete”
My worst shop phobic moment was when I tried on some clothes at a store put my shirt back on to discover there was a wasp in it and it was stinging me.Just wanted to run out of there but couldn’t wasn’t completely dressed.
My most shop-phobic moment was when I went bra shopping with my grandmother. She’s the coolest grandma ever, but it was still quite a “moment” because I just wanted to get in and get out! : ) What a situation!
My most shop phobic moment is any time I have to go get bandaids, uh too many choices I always think of when one went into my mouth while swimming.
My most shop phobic moment has to be when i spent a hour at this one store in the mall just trying on jeans that just dont fit, i kept having to have the sales lady bring me a bigger size every time i could pull the pants up

My most shop phobic moment was trying on jeans after having a baby.
Really? We are only suppose to name one?? I have so many, but my worst is bathing suits without a doubt!
My shop phobic moment would be shopping for clothes in general. It is hard to spend all that time looking and picking, only to go into the dressing room and feeling worse than when you walked in. Clothes are usually too big or too small and being picky does not help either.
For me it would be pant shopping. It is just time consuming and my wife wants me to try everything on.
My most shop phobic moment is anytime I have to try on new clothes as I don’t know what my size is due to weight loss and weight gain. For years I was a size 5, got sick, almost died, went up to a size 26 during this time. On my way back down but I never know one day to the next or depending on style of clothing what my size will be. I HATE trying on clothes and shopping!!!!
mine is trying on jeans to find the one that fits just right.when you have a little waist and big hips what are you supposes to do.you want them to look good not to big not to small so i found a pair of lees that fit fine…happy
My “shop phobic” moment is every Spring when I realize that my diet went off course after all the holidays and having to find a pair of shorts! I do it every year, you think I would learn already! Sigh!
Shop-phobic is an understatement when you’re 50, not fat, but definitely got some butt and thighs that just ain’t lookin’ like they did at 20 and you’ve got to try and buy a bathing suit that, quite honestly, is a pitiful attempt at trying to convince yourself you can look good almost naked. Of course, when you don’t find that’s possible and finally convince yourself that it’s okay, there will be lots of half-naked, not-so-perfect people on the beach or in the pool with you, you buy a darn bathing suit for comfort, then put on your nice comfy jeans, check yourself out in the mirror again and say, “Well, you don’t look that bad in those jeans, girl!”
Dang, that sounds like me!
my shop phobic moment is every time I shop for pants and they are too short!
My most “shop phobic” moment in the dressing room when shopping is when I button up the pants, look in the mirror, and turn around for the booty view!!!!
Jeans shopping is the absolute worst for me.

My shopping phobic moment is any time I try to match separates on my own. I have no fashion sense!
My shopping phobic moment is shopping for jeans after the holidays. It’s hard to find the right and comfy fit with a few extra pounds. It’s never fun trying to try on the size you thought you still wore, but end up going back to the rack 2-3 times more to find a bigger size. You try them on only to figure out it fits good in one place, but not another. Jeans are the worse to shop for. I usual end up buying some velour pants that i know will fit snug on me.
my shop phobic is just trying buy clothes for myself. then add my husband to it even harder.
