@LeeJeans and Mike Rowe of “Dirty Jobs” fame have teamed up to launch www.ShopPhobia.com, where men can learn to shop without fear or “without losing your manhood”
Take the Shop Phobie test and find out if you are NOT BAD, BAD, DIRE, or HOPELESS!
As a BONUS, once you take the challenge you will get a $5.00 coupon and free shipping to buy Lee jeans online.
To celebrate the launch of Shop Phobia, Lee Jeans wants to give FIVE Sweeties a pair of either Lee Premium Select jeans for men or Lee Slender Secret jeans for women just for sharing their most “shop phobic” moment.
Watch Mike Rowe’s video and you will realize how different men and women are when it comes to shopping. Mike is too funny.
He asks,
“Do you know what is nice about trying on jeans? He says, NOTHING, there’s nothing nice about trying on jeans.
He’s too cute!
Men often think like Mike, that they are just about naked in this tiny room with white walls, hoping that no one sees them in their tighty whiteys, while women see shopping and trying clothes on as an emotional experience. I’m not completely sure that Mike is convinced that it is indeed okay to try his Lee jeans on in a dressing room in public – gotta love him.
One thing he is sure of though is that he likes Lee jeans. They were reasonably priced for him and it made his butt look good – lol
Lee jeans are durable and stylish, a pair of jeans a regular-guy can wear. There’s nothing like a good fitting pair of jeans.
Last December I actually won a pair of Lee Slender Secret jeans from the Lees Facebook page. And, I did a review of them. I have always loved and worn Lee jeans for as long as I can remember.
The Prize:
Five winners will receive: a pair of Lee jeans – Lee Premium Select jeans for men or Lee Slender Secret jeans for women
How to Enter: two ways

My shop phobic moment definitely always occurs with jeans. I HATE shopping for jeans. I always go out looking for jeans and end up with 5 shirts!
my shop phobic moment is trying on swimsuits and bras. I never can tell by looking or guessing whats going to fit or look good on me. So I usually spend to much time in the dressing room with the wrong sizes ans styles!
I hate trying stuff on and wont do it unless I am buying something expensive
My moment is having to walk through the aisles of rack after rack, dig through to find something I a)like, b) isn’t crazy expensive and c) in my size. Then take everything to try on. I take 20+ items in and usually end up with only one that fits that I think I’ll also wear. Ugh.
I hate dressing rooms. I always feel like store security is kicking back with a bag of doritos watching me try on clothes.
Funny, but I have felt that way too 🙂
My shop-a-phobic moment is taking my 2 boys to the store with me. I only do it in emergency situations!!
I ordered a pair of jeans online, and decided I wanted a different shade. I returned them to the store, and then went to find the other shade, only to find that the store did not carry it, and indeed, the shade I thought I saw there before was actually for a different style. I left the store and decided shortly later to just go back and get the pair I originally had, and be done with it. I got to the store and they told me the pair of jeans was already gone. Now I loved the fit and style and had a hard time finding them. So now I was really upset. but a patient store employee helped me search each and every rack. Instead of putting them back in the stock room, they had hung them out on the floor in a different area. CLose one, but I ended up with getting my jeans!
I dislike shopping all together.I have a phobia just going into stores.I can’t remember the last time I bought jeans or something nice for myself. The jeans I do have in my closet don’t even fit and have to be at least 10 yrs old.I usually wear sweat pants and tee shirts at work for the last 13 yrs,but I was layed off and I’m dreading going to buy new clothes just to go on a interview for a new job.
Every time I attempt to take my hubby to the mall…ANY mall….he acutually has a panic attack. He will either sit in the car or drive home and have me call him when I am ready. Phobia in a BIG way at our house!
My shop-phobic moment is when I have to take 2 of everything into the dressing room because I am between sizes.
My most scariest thing is when Im in the dressing room I also wander if someone is behind the mirror watching me So I always try to hurry and pull up the pants without falling down And I always make sure I have on nice underwear : )
my shopphobic moment- Looking into those god awful 3 sided mirrors! Honestly I don’t need to see ALL of me while trying on clothes!
My shop phobic moment is taking my 14 year old daughter shopping. She hates everything! I try so hard to say nothing and maybe she might like something. She likes to wear the same outfit everyday. I buy her new clothes all of the time but she just sticks to one outfit.
My shop-o-phobic moment was a few weeks ago when I was trying on some new summer clothes and had nothing but my bra and underwear on when my three year old decides to sneak under the door of the dressing room! Needless to say there’s no more shopping w/ kids… AND I didn’t buy anything! LoL (won’t show my face in the mall anymore either…) haha…
My shopphobic memoment is shopping for myself. I hate it. I love to shop for others.
My shop phobic moment is trying on swimming suits for the summer, especially now post-baby! Those lights in the dressing room make everything so much worse…
This is perfect for my hubby and teenagers! Love it
Trying on jeans they never seem to fit right!
I think my most shop phobic moment I was pregnant with my first child and was picking out maternity bathing suits, then having to go out a couple times to get a bigger size lol
My most shop phobic moment is shopping for dresses if I have an special event to attend I don’t wear them often so I never know which to buy. I end up trying on so many.
PANTS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
My only shopping phobia moment comes when I have to shop alone without my mom to ask her opinion. She always seems to find the right stuff to bring to me in the dressing room!
My most “shop phobic” moment was when I had to shop for bathing suits before losing the extra weight I had gained with my son. I never wanted to shop for bathing suits again.
Typical.. lol It is funny.. I think my most shop phobic moment was:
when my son was younger I had to shop for his sports protector..

My shopping phobic moment is shopping for pants. Why do men get the easy system where you know your size and that is it. Women, the same size in the same brand may fit totally differently. I just hate shopping for pants.
