@LeeJeans and Mike Rowe of “Dirty Jobs” fame have teamed up to launch www.ShopPhobia.com, where men can learn to shop without fear or “without losing your manhood”
Take the Shop Phobie test and find out if you are NOT BAD, BAD, DIRE, or HOPELESS!
As a BONUS, once you take the challenge you will get a $5.00 coupon and free shipping to buy Lee jeans online.
To celebrate the launch of Shop Phobia, Lee Jeans wants to give FIVE Sweeties a pair of either Lee Premium Select jeans for men or Lee Slender Secret jeans for women just for sharing their most “shop phobic” moment.
Watch Mike Rowe’s video and you will realize how different men and women are when it comes to shopping. Mike is too funny.
He asks,
“Do you know what is nice about trying on jeans? He says, NOTHING, there’s nothing nice about trying on jeans.
He’s too cute!
Men often think like Mike, that they are just about naked in this tiny room with white walls, hoping that no one sees them in their tighty whiteys, while women see shopping and trying clothes on as an emotional experience. I’m not completely sure that Mike is convinced that it is indeed okay to try his Lee jeans on in a dressing room in public – gotta love him.
One thing he is sure of though is that he likes Lee jeans. They were reasonably priced for him and it made his butt look good – lol
Lee jeans are durable and stylish, a pair of jeans a regular-guy can wear. There’s nothing like a good fitting pair of jeans.
Last December I actually won a pair of Lee Slender Secret jeans from the Lees Facebook page. And, I did a review of them. I have always loved and worn Lee jeans for as long as I can remember.
The Prize:
Five winners will receive: a pair of Lee jeans – Lee Premium Select jeans for men or Lee Slender Secret jeans for women

My hubby is such a shop a phobic he never ever wants to try anything on and always just buys and takes home.. He believes that you go to a store for a purpose and then get out!
My most shop a phobic moment is when they never have my size!
my shop phobic moment is trying on swimsuits. usually with kids pulling on me at the same time. not fun 😉
My shop phobic moments is when you grab your size and go and try them on and because they are different designers, all the clothes fit differently.
My shop phobic is taking my 6 teenagers school shopping all together UGH
My shop phobic moment is when my husband is waiting impatiently for me and I’m panicking to pick just the right piece!
my shop phobic moment is trying on jeans after having my son & having a c-section. i have yet to get rid of that little pouch and my hips are not the same, so jeans definately do not fit right any more :-/
My most shop phobic moment is finding something to wear that is appropriate for my age and size!
My most shop-phobic moments are trying on swim suits and bras – they never have any that fit me and if they do fit, they usually look terrible in those awful dressing room mirrors!
My shop-a-phobic moment is pretty much all of it. I hate the mirrors and the small little dressing rooms and the clothes that never seem to look right…
When it comes to trying on cloths, I’ll sooner buy them take them home try them on when I feel like it and if they don’t fit then take them back… Yes, I am one of those get in get out types..
My most shop-phobic moment is when I go with my super hot and skinny BFF and I have to try on jeans 3 sizes bigger than her!
My hubby HATES shopping. Every store has slightly different sizes, some need a belt, some don’t, some are too short, some are too long (even with the same number on the tag!). He finds a pair that works and buys 5 at a time, lol 🙂
My shop phobic moment is shopping for bras!
my moment is when I have to buy clothing for our daughter and my hubby comes with me! Yikes.. he gets so excited when he finds something he thinks is “cute” When actually it doesn’t match!!! sooo instead of hurting his manly feelings my little jilly gets one or two mixed matched outfits a year!
I used to love shopping – now after two kids my worst moment was breaking down into tears at a JCPenny because I couldn’t find anything that looked good on me
If not believing that there really is privacy in a dressing room isn’t bad enough, I also get a feeling of claustrophobia being in those tiny closets trying on clothes! I’d love to win these jeans for my son (who won’t even go shopping! He just has me buy him clothes and we hope for the best).
The scariest moment for me is when I have to face the mirrors and lights found in dressing rooms. They are not flattening at all. Nowadays, I’ll just buy something and try it at home.
My shop-phobic moments always seem to be in a place like Home Depot! Where I think that every man in there is looking at me like I’m a total idiot. Where I never seem to know EXACTLY what I want. Where I can go to get something as simple as a lightbulb and stand in front of the aisle-long display with my jaw dropped down to my belly button in amazement that there could be so many options and still not knowing which lightbulb my husband wanted me to get!

It’s hard for my husband to find pants that fit. He buys them and then has to take them back. He has Lees and they look good on him.
I hate trying on jeans and nothing fitting right. After 4 kids your shape isn’t the same as high school I can’t look in the mirrors.
My hubby is so embarrassed to shop, even for himself, he waits outside the store. So silly, but yet, he loves having new clothes

My most shop phobic moment was going in to a dressing room area and picking out a room, only to find out that ladies were supposed to go the right and men to the left. I went left…and no one stopped me! I think they were laughing behind my back. But that’s what happens when you’re in a hurry because your husband and 4 year old are both ready to leave!
