Winner Determination: Sponsor, at its sole discretion, will select approximately three Statements from eligible entries submitted each day during the Contest Period (i.e. total of fifteen eligible entries) for final voting by the judging panel. The finalists’ Statements will be voted on by a panel of judges selected by Sponsor in Sponsor’s sole discretion. The winning Statement will be determined, at the sole discretion of the judging panel, based 33.3% on creativity, 33.3% on originality, and 33.3% on appropriateness to the theme of the Contest (i.e., tell us why you deserve to win the Prize).

Watch “The Ellen DeGeneres Show” (check your local listing for time of broadcast). During each episode of the Show during the Contest Period, a “Cat Week Moment” will take place where a cat holds a “Cat Week” flag. To enter select which “Cat Week” flag was seen on the show. In the event the Contestant incorrectly answers the question pertaining to the “Cat Week,” flag, Contestant’s entry for that day’s Show will be disqualified. Submit a written statement of no more than approximately 2000 characters describing why Contestant deserves to win the prize. Additionally, Contestant may provide a photograph of Contestant for purposes of confirming identity and for publication in the event that Contestant wins a Prize. Submission of the Photo will not affect whether or not Contestant will win the Prize.
Cat Week Flag Of The Day: entry must be received between the hours of 6:00:00 a.m. PT and 11:59:59 p.m. PT on the same Show day.

Iove Ellen and the fact that she loves people and cats o’s woderful. The joy she brings to the heart of strangers in outstanding. I have been able to witness her love and kindness since 2009 after having health issues and could no longer work. I am happy to know she is awesome and caring. It means a lot every one needs to know they are love. Thank you Ellen
